Admiral Loinpresser's JournalTwo more Republicans for Bernie.
I guess I'll just start collecting these and post when I have five or ten at a time:
Have been living in Vermont for many years, have voted for Bernie every time, very proud of him, he tells us whats wrong, and how to fix it, never ran a dirty campaign, so as a Republican, Marine vet, and Minister, Im voting for Bernie Sanders.
Clifford isnt the only Republican taking notice, Hertz tells of another staunch member of the GOP who is abandoning the party in favor of Sanders. This Reagan Republican wrote a lengthy comment on another of the writers posts and explained why he likes the Vermont Senator. Part of his reason is that Bernie Sanders is a crusader of the middle class:
Everything he did was for the American worker, from protecting them from outsourcing and cheap foreign labor, to fixing the budget deficit by hiking taxes on the rich, to boosting the minimum wage. Hed be considered a centrist back in the 80s, which is why he has my vote.
Its HUGE that Bernie Sanders is stealing not just a religious veteran away from the GOP, but also a Reagan Republican. Those are two of their ideal voters. When you think of Republican voters, your mind probably immediately lands on someone who is religious, a veteran or someone who believes Reagan was a super hero. So to lose those types of voters, the ones they dont even think they have to work to keep is almost unheard of and its not just these two voters.

Kudos to the KC Royals and Bernie:
doin' it old school, on a low budget and kickin' New York ass!
South Carolina, baby!
We are thrilled to have such broad enthusiasm among local women for Sen. Sanders, State Director Christopher Covert said Wednesday. Sanders has fought for womens rights and economic fairness throughout his life and the support in South Carolina reflects the national movement of American women joining our campaign.
Christale Spain, the South Carolina Director of Political Outreach, said that as a black woman and a single mother, it was crucial to support a candidate who has demonstrated a commitment to advocating for me and the issues that impact my community. Sen. Sanders has been a champion of civil rights and economic equality for women for thirty years, and I am proud to endorse him.
Dr. Gloria Tinubu, the first African-American woman in the state to win the Democratic nomination for Congress, believes that Sanders is in the tradition of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who lead our parents and grandparents through one of the most challenging times in our nations history. Like President Roosevelt, Bernie is fighting to protect our democratic way of life and our four freedoms: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from want, and freedom from fear.
A new Clemson University Palmetto Poll shows that nearly one in two South Carolina Democratic primary voters remain undecided about whom to support in the February primary.

Another Republican for Bernie.
As I struggled through this incredibly difficult time, the banks that caused this death-spiral of mine all got big government bailouts. Those bailouts didn't replace my retirement savings. They certainly didn't forgive my mortgage or my car loan -- all I got was a colossally reduced credit score, the lowest score I've ever heard of. The bailouts didn't help ANYONE who took a beating the way I did.
But those bailouts DID help out the bank CEOs. They got enormous bonuses from all that taxpayer money.
Meanwhile, I lived in Germany for three years before I was finally hired back in the States. During that time I saw how Germany's national healthcare works. I saw how free college tuition works. I saw how unemployment security and public pensions and paid sick leave and many of the programs Bernie talks about work under well-regulated capitalism.
Well, you know what? My views changed completely. Winner-takes-it-all capitalism nearly destroyed the world. It's a total failure as it creates too many losers. It's time we change to a system that prevents people from falling into bankruptcy when they have unexpected hospital expenses.
We need Bernie Sanders.

There are many liars and even a few cowards out there.
Please don't believe anything they have to say about the "Enough is Enough" march and rally on Saturday, November 28 at the National Mall in Washington from 10am to 1pm.
They just want to hate. Consider the source and ignore them. I no longer rebut them about the rally on GDP, as I was jury locked for pointing out the cowardice of one. I'm feeling much better this week. I simply have no desire for their bait.
Love to Bernie people here and all people of good will across the planet!
Natives for Bernie.
In case you can't see this link, it is a picture of Gary Dorr, a northern native man (don't know his tribe), wearing a traditional First Cavalry sergeant's hat (i.e. old school cavalry). Gary went to war with the First Cavalry. His T-shirt says "Native Vets for Bernie 2016."

Good morning Berniacs!
I am starting a juice fast this morning and it feels great. What the hell does that have to do with Bernie?
My wife is considering running for office (can't go into details yet) as a Bernie Sanders Democrat and some pros think she can win in a purple district.
So I have to lose weight and get presentable, such as I am.
So I am loving me some Berniacs this morning, looking forward to a big adventure in the revolution (possibly) and getting my health together. Life is good!!
"Enough is Enough" Rally still growing.
Free tickets available. Saturday, November 28, 10:00am to 1pm, EST. Washington National Mall. For details, see

If this link goes down due to busy bodies, please let me know.
Caveats: If you hear any misinformation, e.g. there is any cash involved or that we need a permit, all of that is wrong and they don't know what they're talking about. There have been multiple contacts to the relevant authorities and everything is copacetic. These organizers are doing a cashless grassroots action for the movement's benefit alone.
I am guessing without checking (busy as hell) that the RSVPs are at about 10,000, but I've been low previously.
Dr. Cornel West will march and speak at the rally. In case you haven't heard, Dr. West is controversial, especially because of his strong/overstrong remarks about President Obama in past years. But I will say this. When Laura Flanders interviewed him, he talked about when he was nine years old and he refused to salute the flag because his uncle had been lynched. To be able to go through that in childhood and come to a message of love and unity, this is the mark of a man with character. Is he a firebrand? Yes. But he walks the walk, imo.
Bernie, Corporate Media and the truth.
Bernie, Corporate Media and the truth.
We should not focus on conspiracy theories any more than we should focus on hostility coming from various camps. All we have to do is keep working for Bernie, for the most part. Having said that, we should always fight lies and misinformation about Bernie.
We cant allow what happened to Gore in the War on Gore waged by the corporate media in 2000.
We cant allow what happened to Dean in Iowa in 2004.
We cant allow what happened to Kerry, when he was Swift-Boated in 2004.
We cant allow what happened to Obama with the birthers, etc.
Facts:
1. Bernie has not gotten the media coverage he deserves.
We used the Nexis database to see how often various news outlets had mentioned Sanders and Trump since July 1. The biggest gap we found was in the medium that reaches the most voters: broadcast network TV. On average, ABC, CBS and NBC named Sanders in their news stories 17 percent as often as they named Trumproughly one story that included the senator for every six with the developer.

2. Bernies most important moment in the first Democratic debate was distorted through editing.
I am referring to his damn emails" statement. In context, his statement was a direct attack on the corporate media and an implicit attack on Hillarys record on free trade, especially the TPP. But the corporate media spun it as a moment of conciliation with her. Notice that she decelerates her nodding agreement when Bernie mentions free trade agreements.

3. CNN pledged in 2007 to make the full debate videos available to the public without restrictions. See 7:50 of the link below.
&list=PLZyskCEWrM_oHohI0KgpWmrj9hH8L2VGN
4. They upheld that pledge in the CNN GOP debate in 2015- They shut down no citizen channel of it (as far as I know) and it is still up unedited.
5. They broke that pledge with respect to the CNN Democratic debate by shutting down Bernie 2016 tv.
6. CNN created a Best of Hillary video on their youtube channel in the wake of the debate.
http://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2015/10/14/best-of-hillary-clinton-democrati-debate-las-vegas-election-2016-ar-origwx.cnn
7. CNN did not create a Best of video for any other Democratic candidate. Try to find one. I couldnt.
The motivation of CNN is irrelevant. Their treatment of Bernie and those citizens trying to exercise their first amendment rights in support of him is very relevant.
And now, back to working for the revolution!
