Professor implied committing sex assault is a right of passage for men. Now he says that was satire

https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/03/us/brooklyn-college-professor-kavanaugh-comments-protests/index.html

Mitchell Langbert is an associate professor of business at Brooklyn College in New York.

(CNN)Brooklyn College students are calling for administrators to fire a professor who seemed to dismiss sexual assault by teenage boys in a blog post the teacher now says was an attempt at satire.

Last week, Mitchell Langbert, a business professor for 20 years, wrote: "If someone did not commit sexual assault in high school, then he is not a member of the male sex.

"The Democrats have discovered that 15-year-olds play spin-the-bottle, and they have jumped on a series of supposed spin-the-bottle crimes during (Supreme Court nominee Brett) Kavanaugh's minority, which they characterize as rape, although no one complained or reported any crime for 40 years."

The blog post was reposted in a private group for some 5,000 students and alumni.
Some students were outraged. Corrinne Greene said her campus group, Young Progressives of America, wants Langbert fired.
"To have someone in a position of power espousing sexual assault is not a joke. It's something that needs to be taken seriously," she said.

Yeah, such witty satire.

I guess they're pulling our man card for some of us. No worries, the NRA has a solution to that problem.

Republicans in Texas apologize for campaign ad likening a Hindu deity to the GOP elephant

https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/20/politics/texas-republicans-hindu-theme-campaign-ad-trnd/index.html

The India Herald, a Texas news outlet, published this ad by the Fort Bend County Republicans.

(CNN)To attract Indian-American voters, a Republican party group in suburban Houston released a campaign ad with an image of Ganesha, the elephant-headed Hindu deity.

Published in the India Herald newspaper and sponsored by the Fort Bend County Republican Party, the ad played on the animal symbols for the Democratic and Republican parties. It read: "Would you worship a donkey or an elephant? The choice is yours."

The ad was published on September 12, a day before the start of Ganesh Chaturthi, a 10-day Hindu festival which celebrates the birth of Ganesha.

Now, after a backlash from Hindu-Americans who said the ad was inappropriate, the Fort Bend Republicans have issued an apology, saying they never intended to offend anyone.

GOP is so racist and dumb that Dems might be able to make Texas blue again. Watch for them to try and suppress the votes of US citizens by claiming that "if you look like an H-1b then you can't be allowed to vote" or similar nonsense.

Thousands of Vietnamese, including offspring of U.S. troops, could be deported under tough Trump pol

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/asia_pacific/thousands-of-vietnamese-including-offspring-of-us-troops-could-be-deported-under-tough-trump-policy/2018/08/30/8de80848-a6d0-11e8-b76b-d513a40042f6_story.html?utm_term=.bd3b18d00ae6

Robert Huynh is the son of an American serviceman, although he never knew his father. His mother is Vietnamese, and he was conceived during the Vietnam War. In 1984, nine years after the last American troops left the country, 14-year-old Huynh moved to Louisville with his mother, half brother and half sisters under a U.S. government program to bring Amerasians and others to the United States.

Today, at 48, with a son and two young grandsons in Kentucky, he faces the prospect of being sent back to Vietnam, a country he has not visited since he left and where he has no relatives or friends.

Huynh is one of about 8,000 Vietnamese potentially caught up in a tough new immigration policy adopted by the Trump administration, significantly escalating deportation proceedings against immigrants who have green cards but never became U.S. citizens, and who have violated U.S. law.
...

“My mother is 83 years old right now, and I want to be here when she passes away,” he said by telephone from Houston. “I don’t have anybody in Vietnam. My life is here in the United States.”

You know, because they support our troops so much.

Virginia Dare's unwanted legacy: A white nationalist-friendly website called Vdare

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/retropolis/wp/2018/08/22/virginia-dares-unwanted-legacy-a-white-nationalist-friendly-website-called-vdare/?utm_term=.fe061bd5b87b&wpisrc=nl_buzz&wpmm=1

President Trump’s economic adviser, Larry Kudlow, had a publisher over for dinner earlier this month who provides a platform for white nationalists, The Washington Post reported Tuesday.

Kudlow, who has known Peter Brimelow for decades, said he wasn’t aware that for nearly 20 years Brimelow has run a website, Vdare.com, that promotes white-identity politics. This follows the firing of a Trump speechwriter for appearing at a conference with Brimelow.

But just what is Vdare anyway? A teen challenge involving vaping? A virtual update of the D.A.R.E. program?

Vdare.com is an anti-immigration website named after Virginia Dare, the first English child born in what is now the United States. Nothing is known about her other than her name and date of her birth, but that hasn’t stopped white nationalists, and others, from speculating.

In July 1587, a group of English explorers arrived on the coast of what is now North Carolina to start a settlement. There had been other, unsuccessful European attempts to settle the land, but Governor John White still brought his pregnant daughter Eleanor Dare, and her husband, Ananias.

Within a month, Eleanor had given birth.

Be wary of any DUers posting anything from sites like Vdare, NatVan, Stormfront, etc. Virginia Dare and I were both American-born to parents who came here from overseas but that's where the similarities end for many racists who think they know who "real Americans" are and the rest of us must be "fake Americans".

LIVE: 'Unite the Right 2' rally and counter protests hit DC one year after Charlottesville

Full Disclosure, this video feed is funded by the government of Russia.

I'm just posting this because Nazis are in my city right now 10 blocks away from me and I would prefer to watch from a safe distance.

The main demonstration is set to start at 5:30 PM in Lafayette square, in front of a large white house whose current occupants support this sort of thing.

About IronLionZion

If an H-1b has an American accent, they are probably not an H-1b. It's race, not citizenship. Americans are more diverse than you think. Millions of US citizens don't look the way you might expect. This fact is very important and will help us win elections.
