Betting odds now have Sanders even with Rubio for President

May not seem like a big deal but just a few days ago he was much lower and strangely enough betting odds tend to be extremely accurate the closer it gets to the election. I think a lot of folks are really watching Iowa and NH because those two could really change the direction of this thing.

The best way to stump fundy's who suggest only those who believe get into heaven

In recent years I haven't been in too many arguments with folks I know about religion, however the few times I have been, including last night I have found one line of reason that I use, that seems to always stump them. Last night a friend and I were discussing probabilities of different thing and I said something about there being a 100% probability that we all die. He then went on to say that those who believe will never die to which I said "If you are trying to convert me into becoming a Christian on the live forever line but only if I believe in Jesus, it won't work because I could never believe in a God that would exclude good folks, many of which are my family and friends who I know are wonderful people. That is not a God I would ever respect or want to worship."

He is usually the type to keep arguing but got quite trying to think of a comeback and the argument just ended. This has happened to me before a couple of times. I think the reason it works is because they themselves probably find it a bit tyrannical and really what more can they say when you just took the moral high ground over their God?

The way the Iowa's caucauses work....who does it benifit?

I probably don't have the best understanding of this process but doesn't it work a lot differently than a primary? Seems I heard people go into a room or a tent and then are asked to go into a group for the candidate they support and then the people in the room debate and try to convince undecided votes to come to their group. Is this correct? If so I would think there would be a huge advantage for the candidate with a more excited base and there is no doubt with the huge crowds that Sanders supporters are extremely loyal and motivated. Have pollsters taken this into account as a wildcard? Or am I not understanding how a caucus works?

Militant broadcaster brands 15-year-old girl a ‘prostitute’ for crying in fear @ Oregon town meeting

Conservative broadcaster Pete Santilli accused a 15-year-old Oregon girl who cried at a town meeting of “prostitution” on Wednesday.

Earlier this week, Judge Steven Grasty’s granddaughter, Ashlie Presley, choked up at a Burns town meeting while explaining that Ammon Bundy’s armed takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge had put the community in fear.

“I should not have to be scared in my own hometown,” Presley said. “I know that all of my friends have been scared and have come to me to know what to do.”

While broadcasting from the refuge on Wednesday, Santilli said that Grasty had turned his granddaughter into a “prostitute.”

“That judge was prostituting his granddaughter for political purposes,” he opined. “I’m going to call it for what it is. If it were my granddaughter, I would not treat her like a prostitute like he did.”

According to Santilli, opponents of Bundy’s militants were a “bunch of effing communists” because they had allowed the girl to express her fear in public.

“What he did with his granddaughter is disgusting,” he continued. “It’s called prostitution, okay? Except you gave it up for free… She’s a young girl, she did just a masterful dramatic performance.”

“The only reason that anyone needs to be fearful about what’s going on around here are the corrupt bastards like her grandfather. He needs to be fearful because we’re going to investigate and we’re going to bring some justice to a judge.”

A Ruby Ridge happens in Americas Ghetto's every week and no one cares

I was just thinking about the New York Times Ruby Ridge video I posted a few days ago and how that incident changed the way the FBI handles situations with white separatist idiots and how it is influencing what is happening in Oregon. However, it just occurred to me that pretty much every few days I see a story about a Black or Hispanic kid getting killed in a raid in the city and no one gives a shit. WTF?

That being said, there should be a lot fewer Ruby Ridges and dead kids in the Ghetto because of botched police raids.

I have to say, I think the Gov. staying out of this is working. By the town wanting them out and other militias turning on them, this has actually done a lot of damage to the militia movement because it is shining a light on how over blown their concerns for Gov. over reach are. People are watching this and seeing there really isn't much to this and they are thinking "This is the best reason they could come up with for an armed take-over of Gov. property? Really?" Had the Gov. gone in heavy handed then it would have completely fueled the anti Gov. movement. Right now they are beginning to look demoralized.

Some protesters have begun to leave Malheur wildlife refuge headquarters, as onetime collaborator says leader Ammon Bundy should exit ‘the right way’


As the armed siege of an eastern Oregon wildlife refuge entered its second week, the rightwing militia faced increasing pressure to surrender – including from former supporters of the occupation’s leader.

Ammon Bundy, the Nevada rancher who organized the takeover of the Malheur national wildlife refuge headquarters, avoided reporters all weekend as some of the protesters began to leave the occupation and as local residents and activists who had previously backed Bundy demanded that he and his militiamen retreat.

“We’re gonna figure some way to get him out,” Travis Williams, a 46-year-old Harney County rancher, told the Guardian on Saturday night. Williams had met and collaborated with Bundy last month in advance of a large rally to protest against the prosecution and imprisonment of local cattle ranchers Dwight Hammond and his son, Steven. But he and other local allies of Bundy were shocked when Bundy and fellow out-of-state men hijacked the protests and formed a heavily armed militia that seized a number of buildings at the federal wildlife sanctuary, located 30 miles away from the town of Burns.

If this New York Times video on Ruby Ridge is any indication of what will happen in Oregon

It sounds like we could be in for a very long, drawn-out standoff. The one important difference is that they have taken a Federal building which is quite a bit different than someone doing a standoff in their trailer in the woods which is discussed late in the video. Also, I think the people of Burns are extremely important because they want their lives back. They are the ones that need to put the pressure on Bundy.

Video of Burns Oregon Town Meeting (sounds like Bundy's group has been extremely intimidating)

Cut to about the 27 minute mark where the Sheriff points out they don't want outsiders getting into their business and the crowd goes wild in support of the Sheriff. This video was posted by Pete Santilli who is just about as crazy as they come. You can tell from the comment section they didn't like the reaction of the town. But what is telling is listening to the Nazi type tactics the Bundy group has brought to the town. I am wondering why this hasn't been reported on by the national news? These folks have been absolutely lawless and extremely intimidating and disrespectful to the town of Burns.

Note, it also sounds like he has edited the video as it cuts out from time to time so who knows what goodies have been edited out. Santelli also leaves because he can tell it's not going his way and then makes a bunch of insane comments at the end of the video.
