Covid seems to be really starting to spread as it gets colder

Several things that cause viruses to be worse in the winter are:

1. Low humidity indoors causing saliva to evaporate off the virus so it floats around in the air longer

2. People go indoors

3. Less sunlight so people are not getting enough vitamin D.

In a month it could be pretty bad. The only good thing about this is far fewer Republicans have voted early and by mail. If covid is spiking on election day across the country, it could drive down people waiting to vote for fear of getting sick. This would give Dems a huge advantage. I hate to see it going up but Trump gambled on discouraging early voting for Republicans. This could be the dumbest political error for quite some time.

Model Talk: Trump's Position Worsens l FiveThirtyEight Politics Podcast

Around the 36 minute mark he says even with the polling errors in 2016 repeating, Biden would still crush Trump. However, pollsters have made adjustments for those errors.

Any thoughts on when the NY Times is going to release another article on Trump's taxes?

I got the impression there was going to be at least a couple more rounds of news coming.

Trump is acting like an insecure incel getting dumped

by the first girl he thought he had a chance with. His little brain is shorting out and he is desperately attempting every psychotic, deranged, idea that comes into his brain from trying to look super cool and macho, to threatening her life. His world is falling apart and he has lost control.

Just wanted to point out that after pollsters missed the mark slightly in 2016

in some states, Nate Silver said they saw what the issue was and made adjustments. So all the polls we are seeing today have that factored in. I can't find the link so if someone has a link feel free to post. I saw this in a 538 article a couple of months ago.

Editing to say that a LOT of right wingers are going to lose a lot of money this year on betting sites because they are expecting the polls to be wrong. LOL

Live: FAUCI WARNS OF POTENTIAL 'REVERSAL' FOR TRUMP'S HEALTH

https://www.facebook.com/NowThisPolitics/videos/888426428228596

FAUCI WARNS OF POTENTIAL ‘REVERSAL’ FOR TRUMP’S HEALTH: Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institutes of Health participates in a virtual forum to discuss the development of a vaccine for COVID-19, courtesy of Johns Hopkins University and University of Washington. Dr. Fauci appeared on CNN last night to discuss Pres. Trump’s return to the White House after spending four days at Walter Reed medical center. He said that Trump ‘looked fine’ as he left the hospital, but warned that ‘the issue is that he’s still early enough in the disease that it’s no secret that if you look at the clinical course of people sometimes, when you’re five to eight days in, you can have a reversal. A reversal meaning going in the wrong direction and getting into trouble.’ Dr. Fauci’s remarks echo what White House physician Dr. Sean Conley said before Trump’s discharge, saying that the president ‘may not entirely be out of the woods yet.’ Fauci is also expected to discuss the recent uptick in new coronavirus cases across the country, as he told WTOP News yesterday ‘the country is in a situation where we are having about 40,000 to 45,000 new infections each day. That’s not a very good place to be as you’re entering into the fall and winter months.’

When Dems take control, should they do something to prevent someone with narcissistic personality

disorder from being allowed to run for President? Or at least have them tested, a panel make a recommendation and make it open to the public so the public can decide? This seems like a sensitive line but Trump has shown this combination with the power that comes with the Presidency can be extremely dangerous. Evidently a study was done that showed about half of the US Presidents had some kind of mental illness. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/the-squeaky-wheel/201602/study-half-all-presidents-suffered-mental-illness

It's not something I normally would want to discriminate on but it seems there needs to be a line drawn someplace with some types of mental illness or at lest the severity of it.
