The fact that only one person was shot in the insurrection as many officers were getting beaten

and tortured and even killed, shows officers are capable of one hell of a lot more restraint than they usually afford minorities. I do want to give the Capital Police credit because I have heard they are perhaps the best force in the country when it comes to dealing with protests because they deal with them all the time. They have incredible training and their training should be a model for the rest of the country when it comes to dealing with protesters. They know how to use restraint and deescalate.

New Conspiracy Theories Around 'Bullhorn Lady': Rumor Mill Links Lauren Boebert's Mother to Capitol

I want to be clear that I have no idea if she is Bullhorn lady. Regardless, her mother is nuts and anti American posting crazy stuff after the riots and then deleting it:

A few days after the fatal Capitol attack, Bentz posted a link, deleted later, to a violent, dystopian YouTube video portraying the country's military might under Trump, from rifles to nuclear bombs, and asserting that the military would stand with the president to keep him in office, reported the outlet.

"Just when y'all thought My President was hiding out...He will not give up on us! In The End We Win!! If That Ain't America I Will Kiss Your Ass!!!" she commented on her post.

Days after Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) was accused of aiding the rioters by live-tweeting the location of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during the Capitol insurrection, she has been engulfed with another conspiracy involving the infamous 'Bullhorn Lady.' Conspiracy theorists are hinting at the possibility of 'Bullhorn Lady' being Boebart's mother, Shawna Bentz.

The 'Bullhorn Lady' became a sensation after she was caught giving instructions and detailing the floor plan of the Capitol building to a group of attackers gathered inside a room. The recent video strengthened the speculation that Capitol siege was coordinated.

Rep. Boebert denies giving tour to Capitol rioters -- despite no one accusing her

Snip> “Your carelessness led to multiple media stories and viral tweets spreading this disinformation,” Boebert wrote to the New York Democrat. “Based on your lies and those of your colleagues, some have even gone so far as to accuse me of conspiring with the criminals that attacked the Capitol.”

Only problem is Maloney didn’t accuse Boebert of giving a tour to the insurrectionists.

“Um, I’ve never said your name in public,” Maloney tweeted at Boebert in response to her missive. “Never. Not once. (If you’re going to be a gun nut, you probably shouldn’t go off half cocked).”

Maloney attached a transcript of his interview on MSNBC to the tweet that confirmed he didn’t point fingers at Boebert.

Online far-right movements fracture in wake of Capitol riot - NBC News

According to researchers who study the real-life effects of the QAnon movement, the false belief in a secret plan for Jan. 20 is irking militant pro-Trump and anti-government groups.

Online far-right movements are splintering in the wake of last week’s Capitol riot, as some radical anti-government movements show signs of disillusionment with the relatively hands-off approach of some QAnon conspiracy theorists amid warnings of future violence.

Users on forums that openly helped coordinate the Jan. 6 riot and called for insurrection, including 4chan and TheDonald, have become increasingly agitated with QAnon supporters, who are largely still in denial that President Donald Trump will no longer be in the Oval Office after Jan. 20.

QAnon adherents, who believe Trump is secretly saving the world from a cabal of child-eating Satanists, have identified Inauguration Day as a last stand, and falsely think he will force a 10-day, countrywide blackout that ends in the mass execution of his political enemies and a second Trump term.

Several QAnon supporters were arrested after storming the Capitol last week, including Jacob Chansley, whose lawyer said his client believed he was “answering the call of our president.”

QAnon believers have spent the last week forwarding chain letters on Facebook and via text message, often removing the conspiracy theory’s QAnon origins, in an effort to prepare friends and family for what they believe to be the upcoming judgment day.

Feeling Betrayed, Far-Right Extremists Have A New Message For Trump: 'Get Out Of Our Way'

I have a comment on this. While this sounds bad, I think a lot of people who believed in Trump are pissed off at him, no longer trust him and will actually just give up and give up on politics. The media tends to want to look only at the bad stuff. It's not all bad, especially since many now want Trump's head according to the article.

As Trump backs down from his “Stop the Steal” hoax, the supporters he radicalized are vowing to carry on the fight without him.

For months, President Donald Trump’s message to his supporters was clear: The election was being stolen from him, and they needed to fight to take it back.

So on Jan. 6, during a Trump-promoted rally to “Stop the Steal,” thousands laid siege to the U.S. Capitol in a stunning attempt to do just that. The fallout of their failed insurrection, which resulted in five deaths, was swift: Trump was deplatformed from nearly every major social network and, on Wednesday, impeached for a historic second time.

When he emerged on camera a short while later, tail tucked between his legs, to condemn the rioters whom he himself had incited, and to call for a peaceful transfer of power to President-elect Joe Biden, his base felt betrayed.

“So he basically just sold out the patriots who got rounded up for him,” one person wrote in a 15,000-member pro-Trump Telegram group. “Just wow.”

In online havens for MAGA extremists, including Gab, CloutHub, MeWe, Telegram and far-right message boards such as 8kun, the tone toward Trump is shifting. HuffPost reviewed thousands of messages across these platforms and found that a growing minority of the president’s once-devout backers are now denouncing him and rejecting his recent pleas for peace. Some have called for his arrest or execution, labeling him a “traitor” and a “coward.” Alarmingly, many of those who are irate about Biden’s supposed electoral theft are still plotting to forcibly prevent him from taking office — with or without Trump’s help.

“We don’t follow you,” another Telegram user wrote, addressing Trump, after the president put out his video urging calm and order. “Be quiet and get out of our way.”
