Dershowitz should be fired! He is pond scum!

'A deliberate effort to mislead the public': Legal experts denounce Alan Dershowitz's warped and desperate defenses of Team Trump
The Harvard professor has conducted a pro-Trump misinformation campaign.

By Cody Fenwick / AlterNet

Snip: "Like many of Dershowitz's recent statements, this appears to be a deliberate effort to mislead the public," noted Renato Mariotti, a former federal prosecutor. "Dershowitz often misleads the public through sleight of hand like this. His deceptive phrases are so carefully worded that I'm convinced he is deliberately deceiving people."

'Dershowitz fails to mention that federal courts have repeatedly determined that questions like the one posed to Michael Flynn *are* material," Mariotti continued. "By omitting that context, Dershowitz makes it seem like this is a legal issue for the Flynn prosecution. It isn't."

Former Nat Enquirer editor: they have unpublished 'embarrassing' and 'criminal' stories on Trump fam

Former National Equirer editor claims the tabloid has unpublished ‘embarrassing’ and ‘criminal’ stories on Trump family

BOB BRIGHAM
17 DEC 2018 AT 19:39 ET

Snip:

“Do you have reason to believe Mr. Pecker knew other incriminating things about Trump that have not come out?” Melber asked.

“Yes, certainly,” he replied.

“Do you know what any of them are?” Melber asked.

“I know some of them and there are stories involving, of course, the Trump-Kushner family, there are stories of, you know, sibling rivalry with the children, back-biting, discord with his wife,” he explained.

Dow closes more than 500 points lower as stock-market rout persists

The Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbled by more than 500 points on Monday as the equity benchmarks in the U.S. The Dow DJIA, -2.11% finished off 508 points, or 2.1%, at 23,592, marking its lowest since March 23, 2018, the S&P 500 index SPX, -2.08% declined by 2.1% at 2,545, finishing at its lowest level since Oct. 9, 2017, while the Nasdaq Composite Index COMP, -2.27% ended 157 points, or 2.3%, lower at 6,754, putting in its lowest finish since November of 2017, according to Dow Jones Market Data. The declines come fresh off an ugly Friday session that saw the Dow enter correction territory, widely defined as a drop of at least 10% from a recent peak. Meanwhile, the 10-year Treasury note TMUBMUSD10Y, -1.31% was yielding 2.86%, pulling back from its Friday values, indicating buying in government bonds and a so-called risk-off mode in the market with investors fleeing to the perceived risk government bonds. Bond prices rise as yields fall. Health-care stocks were under pressure after a Federal judge ruled that Obamacare unconstitutional. All 30 Dow components finished the day in the red, led by a 4.5% loss for American Express Co. AXP, -4.28% while all 11 sectors of the S&P 500 wrapped up in negative territory. The Nasdaq's losses erased all of its year-to-date gains and currently stands down 2.2% for 2018 thus far. The Fed concludes its rate-setting meeting on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Eastern Time.

Fox legal analyst says Trump is facing a Mueller 'doomsday' - could already be indicted in secret

DOMINIQUE JACKSON
17 DEC 2018 AT 16:05 ET

Snip:

“The trial judge said verbally ‘the president of the United States paid for and orchestrated this crime,’ referring to the crime in which Michael Cohen was pleading guilty,” Napolitano said. “The president has denied this.”

He then explained that Trump does not want a higher power such as the jury or Senate determining his fate.

“I don’t think he wants to get to that point. That would be doomsday. That would mean there is enough evidence to indict or impeach him,” Napolitano explained.

Furious James Comey slams Fox News reporter to her face for spreading Trump's 'nonsense'

Video at link

Snip:
Fox Reporter: “The FBI’s reputation has taken a big hit the last year,” asked the reporter. “Do you share any of the responsibility for that?

“No,” Comey replied flatly. “The FBI’s reputation is taking a big hit because the president of the United States, with his acolytes, has lied about it constantly.” But then it got personal.

“In the face of those lies, a whole lot of good people that watch your network believe that nonsense,” he said. “That’s a tragedy. That will be undone eventually. But that damage has nothing to do with me.”

When the number of crimes starts adding up to epic levels can Mueller cite the number of crimes

as reason he might indict the President? What does the law say about this type of thing? It's like at a point it all starts to become absurd and obvious the President has no regard for the rule of law and is a danger to our Democracy. The President is sitting in the ONE position that should value our Constitution and laws more than anyone and he is making a mockery of it.

Video shows white suspect punching Hispanic man in the throat after he orders food in Spanish

Video at link:

A man accused of attacking another customer at a restaurant in Ontario called the victim an "f—ing Mexican," the victim told KTLA, in an incident local police are investigating as a potential hate crime.

Surveillance video shows the victim's body slam to the ground after another man walks directly into him and then stands over him as he tries getting up. The victim, 44-year-old Jose, had come into the Waba Grill off of Mountain Avenue around 1 p.m. during his lunch break on Wednesday.

After he fell, Jose said the stranger then cursed at him and turned more violent.

"He said, 'Watch out, you f—ing Mexican.'"

Fox legal analyst on Mueller probe: Mike Flynn interview was 'not entrapment'

TRAVIS GETTYS
17 DEC 2018 AT 09:37 ET

Fox News legal analyst Andrew Napolitano shot down the conservative talking point that disgraced national security adviser Mike Flynn was tricked into lying by FBI agents.

Flynn pleaded guilty to misleading investigators about his contacts with Russian officials, and he argued in court documents that FBI agents tricked him into lying about evidence they already had — and Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo agreed.

Snip: “Entrapment has legal meaning, it means overbearing somebody’s will,” he said. “In other words, if somebody resists committing a crime, you try to persuade them, please and so on, and giving somebody the opportunity to commit a crime that he is otherwise inclined to commit is not entrapment.”
