You know, I have only one more thing to say today...

During the economic crash, there was a picture circulating around the Intertubes which consisted of the following: a crowd of onlookers was gathered at the entrance to one of the NY brokerage houses and everyone was looking up. One man had a sign which read "Jump, you Fuckers!". The caption read: The Natives Are Restless

Well, the natives are restless once again. Clearly, one party, the cryptofascistrethuglican party, has made many many attempts to prohibit voting by minorities or within clearly Democratic strongholds. What they wound up doing is energizing the voters who normally might have actually sat this one out for a variety of reasons. Of course, in their attempt to take over the country, gerrymandering was not enough, they had to try this stunt. I would say that if large numbers of individuals are prevented from voting by/on Tuesday, woe betide these tinhorn-Mussolini types. It's gonna make the Florida preppy takeover of the Dade County election HQ look like a day at the park.

I'm wearing my Obama button to my dental practice on Monday and Tuesday. I am neither afraid nor ashamed of supporting him and the Democrats across the board in order to stave off this creeping fascism which is attempting to envelop the United States in its entirety.

Pissed-off Sunday Dento-political Thread: MTP almost caused me to lose my breakfast...

Will someone please explain to me how that prick Gregory has a panel made up entirely of Rethugs, one asshole in the person of Savannah Guthrie who does no have two neurons in that head of hers, and one Cory Booker, the lone Dem, who prefaces every fucking remark of his by saying "I'm not reflexively partisan, but..." Assholes like this are why we lose...it's the Eddy Rendell school of Democratic politics, to wit: "I'm sitting on top of the political heap, so fuck you and your idealism and party loyalty."

And then of course, you have Chuck Todd with his moving states around hypothesizing this and that..making the case for Romney winning, but never stating the obvious: that the President is leading in all of those states by significant numbers, and that all of a sudden, if you want to believe that that's true, the Indies are breaking for him, and that Romney is out of the news.

I can't wait for this to be over...but you know that on January the twenty-first, it all starts again.

I've got a giant headache....interestingly ,I believe that the word "headache" is the only word, (other than the trivial solution "he&quot ' which begins and ends with the letters h and e. I learned that in the brilliant book "Godel, Escher, Bach" by that genius Douglas Hofstadter.

More disgust coming later...we better fucking WIN is all I can say.

Rethuglican Enablers are omnipresent in the MSM...

Like moles planted in some Tom Clancy book or MI-5 TeeVee show, these men and women are everywhere. Schooled from an early faux-journalistic youth, they have had the term "impartial" ascribed to them over long years of working their way up doing stand-ups in the rain and snow, in flood zones and heat waves, reporting what seem to the uninitiated to be the "facts". This allows the TeeVee personality to establish a verisimilitude.

However, somewhere along the line, the reporter is given a political beat and the public has no idea, nor does it care, if and when the journo actually has the credentials or the objectivity. But no matter, the same guy or gal who told e people that five inches of snow had fallen, now tells you that Races are neck and neck, or that the is an enthusiasm gap. The only actual gap is between the ears here...

The reason that you know t hat what I have said is true is simply that one individual was given Carte Blanche and skipped over the mundane stories and went right to the top, or the near- top. And that would be at moranic impersonation of a dildo, Luke Russert. NBC made a mistake by promoting this two-digit I.Q. Jockstrap too quickly, and he has given their game away unwittingly. I say "unwittingly" because that's the hallmark of Little Luke's opinions. He's an unabashed Rethug who is just so thrilled to be in with the In Crowd that he can't stop gushing, as though he just met John Elway or Jack Nicholson. MSNBC doesn't fool me for a minute since they are the network which fired Phil Donahue because he was skeptical of our war making policy at a time when he might have been shot at dawn or hung in a public square for speaking out. When Fox captured the RW in toto, Olbermann showed MSNBC how to make money and not fold and go the way of the Dumont TV Network.

But these creepazoids are everywhere: it sounds like Santa's reindeer, Blitzer, Brokaw, Stephanopolis, Sawyer, Schieffer, Scarborough, any idiot from Politico, any idiot from 60 Minutes these days, any idiot from Entertainment Tonight, any idiot from just about anywhere is busy making a case for this King of Liars and his henchman who can bench press 600 pounds, run a Marathon in under two hours, and leap tall buildings at a single bound. These are the same bastards who made fun of Al Gore's wardrobe and put a man into the Presidency who wasn't even an amiable dunce like Saint Ronald of Reagan, he was just a plain warmongering, uneducated despite his credentials, mean drunk, and what is fascinating is that after subverting the entire Process in order to have him installed, they don't even mention his name from one two week period to the next. They are, as the late, lamented website used to call them, true Media Whores.

Consider this as you watch them breathlessly reporting the returns on Election Night: Blitzer With his hesitations, repetitions, and 'uhhhhs', the FOX folk depressed, whining about turnout and Democrat ( sic and sick) dirty tricks, Anderson Cooper with that false new- found expression of wonderment as he observes the Universe rotating around him and his wonderfully stylish hair, Dian Sawyer matter-of-factly explaining why poor (sic) Governor Romney is losing which is going to be terrible for his darling (!) family, and the real RW non-pretenders like Castellanos, Steve Schmidt, Bay Buchanan, and t he like wailing into their mics.

All in all, a great day and night lies ahead.

The four most beautiful words in the English Language:

"Our power is on"

YAY!

Well, maybe these four: "Democratic Party Sweeps Election" are better...

Giuliani just had a frightening display on CNN

Going after the President on Benghazi. After he finished his repetitive diatribe he removed his earpiece and left so he wouldn't have to respond to Wesley Clark. Dis-gusting.

As a Pennsylvanian, this morning I'm wondering WTF is going on here, the new Center of the Universe:

1. Romney is making an appearance in Bucks County on Sunday, I am made to understand. As someone who lived in Bucks for only about 22 years, I can tell you that there are pockets of voters who would make the KKK/John Birch Society proud. We shall see how he draws here...the Eagles are playing Monday night so there may be a larger than usual crowd.

2. I am in fact genuinely concerned (not "concerned" as we say here at "the" DU) about Senator Casey's non-campaign. The lst time I saw someone take a Senate election for granted, she refused to attend Red Dox games and we know how well that turned out. This TeaParty Tom Smith has been running a real campaign and has commericals which asshole-types would find 'effective', and even has lawn signs! Casey has had about 2 ads which are adequate but not exactly overwhelming. Stay tuned for our results from Pennsyltucky.

3. The former President of Penn State was just indicted for covering up the crimes of Sandusky. This guy Spanier is revered here in the Commonwealth and one wonders if this is going to drift up towards Governor Corbett, who had a hand in all of this. We shall see.

Chuck Todd's Wet Dream:

"So you see, if Governor Romney can win New York and Ohio, along with Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland, coupled with Massachusetts since he WAS once the governor of that backwards state, followed by Illinois and Michigan, and of course all of the states which are certainly deservedly coming to him by dint of his statement that he is an extreme conservative, then we will know by 9:01 PM that my best friend forever, Mitt Romney, will be the President and we'll have taken our country back. Oops, did I just say that?"

Anyone else hear what Mark HelpmeRhonda said on Morning Joe?

That he has been talking to 'elites' of both parties, and that the elites think that the President has it in the bag...that the leads are small but stable in the swing states and that going to PA or MN is, as we have said here in innumerable threads, a fools errand in the long run.

Ya gotta love that word: "elites"...Wow...it's tough for us here in the Proletariat.

You'd think he was "to the manor born". What a chump.

Police State In the Atlantic City Area...

http://www.philly.com/philly/news/breaking/20121031_At_causeway_to_Margate_Bridge__residents_fume.html

Because I can't manage my iPad well, it is hard for me to cut and paste the requisite four paragraphs, so I'll tell you the gist of my problem here...
I can't go down to Ventnor, NJ to see my property and to figure out with an adjuster what needs to be done before the place explodes with mold. If I could rip some stuff out, it would save money and objects, but it is well- nigh impossible at this point...better and more connected people than I can't get in. Read the article and you'll get an idea of what a police state would look like and for no obvious reason. All these people have ID and are residents.

Oh well...it's not a total loss, but it's a lot of money paid out by FEMA for no reason.
