"The doomer" character, an alt-right trope, always becomes happy when the society turns fash. And sure enough, you see that in the video clip. He's depressed when he reads about how Trump's idiotic wall is rusting, and how MAGA morons are POd because Trump is pushing vaccines and boosters. And then DeSantis comes through the door like a savior, and suddenly "the doomer" becomes "the bloomer" (see 0:36). I'm ashamed that I know enough about the moronic Chan "culture" that I recognize these stupid tropes.

You probably have to be of either the Gen X or older Millennial generations to get the reference; it refers to a really bad '80s horror movie, C.H.U.D. (1984), which was played incessantly on cable TV in the '80s and '90s, probably because it cost virtually nothing to show it.

Anyway, it's a catchall term of abuse for MAGA idiots, fundamentalists, and particularly the followers of alt-right and alt-right-adjacent politics. The term is really one of those "you know them when you see them" kinds of things. For example, the majority of the people being interviewed by Trump-simp "networks" like RSBN, OAN, NewsMax, etc. would qualify as chuds. And that goes especially for the people running those kinds of "news" organizations. 
And there you have it. The kind of church the chuds hate. Anyone remember Glenn Beck...

These days, he'd replace "social justice" with "woke", or maybe he'd just remix it Scrabble-style: "woke social justice" or "social justice woke churches". They hate any church with rainbow flags, BLM banners, etc.
The chuds have already been doing this to black churches and synagogues for decades. Now they want to burn down even the white, WASPy churches if they deviate one iota from the party line.

...what I would call semi-open-source (MIT License), developed by many people and "owned" by an institution. The software itself is protected by license, and it is still being developed (continuously since 1984). But the people at MIT may not have registered the stylized "X" as a commercial trademark. The software is ubiquitous on Unix computers, including Macs.
So the Twitter logo is really just a Unicode character?
I had no idea Unicode had anything like that. But then again, I'm not usually looking at a Unicode chart, so that's probably why. 
The X Windows logo does look somewhat more stylized than Unicode character 1D54F. Though one must be based on the other (my guess would be that X Windows predates Unicode, since its first release was in 1984).
