And calling out radical republican candidates as his candidates.
Great article from Politico re: Senator Warnock
Theres Never Been Anybody Like Him in the United States Senate
DALTON, Ga. In the middle of a community center gym in the northwest corner of this state that is the epicenter of American politics stood the Reverend Senator Raphael Warnock. Flanked by red, white and blue balloons, the Democrat campaigning here in staunchly Republican terrain looked out at a small but supportive crowd of Black and white faces. Wearing wire-rim glasses and a trim navy suit, his bald head not quite as shiny as his gleaming brown shoes, the preacher politician made his case for re-election with a sermon on the transcendent power of pavement.
Infrastructure is spiritual, he said.
I believe in this so much that something really unusual happened
something that I didnt see coming, he said. The Warnock-Cruz amendment.
The people in the bleachers seemed confused. But he had their attention.
The rest is worth a read:

Betsy DeVos says the Department of Education 'should not exist'
WASHINGTON - Betsy DeVos, who served as secretary of education under former President Donald Trump, said over the weekend to a conservative group that the department she led should be abolished.
"I personally think the Department of Education should not exist," she said Saturday during a Moms for Liberty event , in Tampa, Florida, according to Florida Phoenix.
DeVos added that educational decisions must be left up to states and local boards, per the Florida Phoenix.
Moms for Liberty's goal is to "organize, educate and empower parents to defend their parental rights at all levels of government," according to its website.
DeVos' comment comes during a time of escalating culture war led by conservatives targeting the teaching of social issues such as race, gender identity, sexual orientation and the desire for more parents to control the school curriculum.

An excerpt from Leibovich's new book
He has a new book out tomorrow: Thank You For Your Servitude: Donald Trumps Washington and the Price of Submission
Leibovich comparing Trump to an opossum that gets into the attic, dies, stinks, and attracts derivative nuisances. He takes a beat to recognize that Its probably disrespectful to compare the office of the presidency to a rotting varmint, but he cant find the energy to care. I used to be mindful of these things, he writes. Color me worn down.

Leningrad Lindsey: Jan. 6 hearings 'will not age well'
WASHINGTON (WBTW) Sen. Lindsey Graham took to Twitter Wednesday afternoon to blast the ongoing hearings about the Jan. 6 storming of former President Donald Trumps supporters at the U.S. Capitol.
It remains unchanged that January 6 was a dark day in American history, Graham ended a Twitter thread, which began with him sharing a Fox News article refuting testimony that Trump lunged to take the wheel away from a Secret Service agent in order to drive to the Capitol. But this committees efforts to politicize the events in a sham, one-sided Star Chamber tribunal, will not end well.
The tweets come a day after Cassidy Hutchinson, a former White House aid, told the Jan. 6 committee that Trump became irate after he was told he couldnt join his supporters.
Graham questioned media coverage of the testimony.

Charges for Trump, others not a 'principal interest': Jan. 6 committee's Jamie Raskin
Rep. Jamie Raskin, a member of the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol, said Sunday that criminal charges against the people involved in trying to overturn the 2020 election -- including former President Donald Trump -- were not his "principal interest" compared to understanding how the violence unfolded to avoid it being repeated.
"Our democracy is on the line here. Our Constitution is at stake. Are we going to have violent assaults against our elections? Are we going to have politicians who, disappointed with the results, try to overthrow the election and just seize power? Is that what American democracy is going to look like in the 21st century?" the Maryland Democrat told "This Week" co-anchor Martha Raddatz.
"So, for me, I'm principally interested in telling the American people the truth so we can fortify our institution against coups and insurrections going forward," Raskin continued.
