They are serving needles sandwiches on Delta Airlines
Needles found in sandwiches on 4 Delta flights
The airline says needles were found in six sandwiches on four flights on Sunday. Delta spokeswoman Kristin Baur says one passenger on a flight to Minneapolis was injured, but the passenger declined to get medical attention.
The sandwiches were prepared in the kitchen of a catering company in Amsterdam, and some were served to business class passengers on Delta flights. After the needles were found, passengers got pizza instead.

Starring Mitt Romney as Gordon Gekko
Can the Obama campaign turn the Republican nominee into a villain of corporate capitalism?
Four days later, President Obamas surrogates appeared on cable and the networks to tell viewers to read past the Pippa Middleton story and check out Shaxon. I've never known of a Swiss bank account to build an American bridge, zinged Maryland Gov. Martin OMalley. (The Los Angeles Times headline for these interviews was Party surrogates rely on familiar talking points on Sunday shows. Clip that one and stow it somewhere cold.)
Sunday afternoon, running into Monday morning, reporters started filing stories on the Range Rover-surfeited scene outside of Romneys fundraisers in the Hamptons. One of these events, at a home owned by David Koch, was bracketed by bused-in Occupy and MoveOn protesters and buzzed by a plane with an anti-1-percent slogan: ROMNEY HAS A KOCH PROBLEM. The donors avoided the protesters but gave reporters quotes worthy of F. Scott Fitzgerald characters.
Which takes us to Monday afternoon, and President Obamas announcement that he wants to keep all of the Bush tax rates for households making less than $250,000. He campaigned on that in 2008. He campaigned on it in 2010. Nothing had changed except the hair color of his opponent. Many members of the other party, said Obama, believe that prosperity comes from the top downthat if we spend trillions of dollars on tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, that that will somehow unleash jobs and economic growth. I disagree.

Funny how the article calls it a Democrat-Media Complex

How Much Is the ACA ‘Tax’?
Q: How much will the tax penalty be for going without health insurance?
A: The minimum assessment will be $695 per person (but no more than $2,085 per family) in 2016, when fully phased in. The amount can be higher depending on income. But there are exemptions for low-income persons and others.
But it will be less to start. The minimum penalty per person will start at $95 in 2014, the first year that the law will require individuals to obtain coverage. And it will rise to $325 the following year.
Starting in 2017, the minimum tax per person will rise each year with inflation. And for children 18 and under, the minimum per-person tax is half of that for adults.

Cuyahoga County GOP lying about jobs at NASA (cross post GD)
Cuyahoga County GOP says jobs in jeopardy at NASA Glenn, NASA denies claims
CLEVELAND - Jobs at NASA's Glenn Research Center in Cleveland are being moved to other facilities. That is according to the Cuyahoga County Republican Party. The group says the moves will have devastating effects on the local economy.
The party says this move will not be officially announced until after this year's presidential elections.
A news release from the Cuyahoga County Republican Party said they've confirmed through several sources the transfer of most research and developmental activities related to manned spaceflight from Glenn Research Center to other NASA facilities.
NASA denies the claims.
NASA is not transferring human spaceflight research and development activities from the Glenn Research Center. In fact, under the ambitious U.S. space exploration plan, President Obama is carrying out, funding for Glenn increases by $17 million next year," NASA Press Secretary Lauren Worley said in a statement.

Unbelievable the lengths the GOP will go to discourage people. This is an attempt to scare voters from voting for the President.

Romney to give his biggest fan a new truck
Perhaps no one has logged more miles supporting Mitt Romney's 2012 bid than Jim Wilson, a 70-year-old retired insurance salesman from Virginia whose beat-up 1998 GMC pickup decorated with American flags and massive "Romney for President" signs has been a ubiquitous presence outside campaign events for months.
Last Wednesday, Wilson's truck caught fire along a Pennsylvania highway as he was driving to catch up with the candidate for events this week, destroying it and most of Wilson's clothes and other belongings. But thanks to the Romney campaign, Wilson won't lose his status as the presumptive GOP nominee's most devoted groupie.
Romney will present Wilson with a new set of wheels at an event in Virginia on Wednesday: a 2003 Chevy pickup that the campaign purchased and plans to loan to Wilson until November, as first reported by Michael Barbaro of the New York Times.
Wilson's profane humor and summer uniform of short-shorts and white knee-high socks have made him one of the more colorful members of the Romney entouragethough Wednesday's event will mark the first time Romney has publicly acknowledged his biggest fan.
