It was Christmas day and the family was at Grandma's house. My aunt and uncle brought my two cousins. "Brett" was the same age as me and his sister was a few years younger. "Brett had gotten the newest thing that year a cassette recorder". We were all in their playing with it and then the other kids left and it was just "Brett" and I. We took turns recording ourselves and then he said to say f*ck. I didn't really want to but he did and then I did. He said he was going to erase it. Then he said if I didn't let him touch me, he would play the recording in the dining room to Grandma, Mom and all the adults. I was more afraid of my parents hearing me say f*ck than I was afraid of him touching me. But I didn't want it and didn't like it. I was afraid that Grandma or Mom would come in when he was touching me.
And it wasn't just once. We used to go spend the night with Grandma and Grandpa and sometimes all the grandkids would be there and we would all sleep on pallets on the floor. He would come over when everyone was asleep and bother me. This went on for two years. And he kept saying he wanted to "put it in". I told him no. I was afraid I would get pregnant. He said he could "put it in the back." I said no, it would hurt and he didn't try it but continued to demand that I let him touch me. And touch him. And if I didn't he was going to tell. He was going to play the recording.
He started getting more insistent that I let him "put it in" and I finally said to go ahead and play the recording but I thought he would get in as much trouble as me. He went in and played it - and the tape was so degraded that none of the adults understood what we were saying and he couldn't blackmail me any more.
I didn't tell anyone about it. Never. Until finally I told my mother when I was 30. Do you know what she said? "You were just kids. If you ever tell your Grandma I'll make sure you never get any inheritance." I never told Grandma or anyone else for a long time.
Last year, my mother was talking about "Brett" and said that he was sick and could barely walk and I said "Good, I hope he's in a lot of pain". Grandma had passed away so she was no longer worried that Grandma would find out. That's what she always dreaded. I think she didn't understand from what I first told her that it was coerced. Or perhaps her attitude has changed. She told me she was sorry, she didn't understand the situation before.
What do you guys think of Dershowitz?
I've got a cousin who says "That’s because the Clinton’s and Obama corrupted the leadership of both the FBI and the Justice Department. That’s the only reason Hillary got a pass. Even that big Lib Allan Dershowitz admitted that."
I said he's more recently been a while for Trump. What do you think?
I had a Trumper in my Uber yesterday
I usually don't talk about politics in my Uber but when someone goes out of their way to change the subject to Trump I can't help it.
Yesterday a guy got into my car and a story came on the radio about an Uber driver who was deactivated because he live streamed his Uber rides. I made a comment about that and he says:
Trumper: As well he should be. Michael Cohen has put himself in a lot of trouble by leaking that tape of Trump.
Me: Well, it probably shouldn't have been leaked, but if I was Trump's lawyer I would have been taking my conversations with him too.
Trumper:. Why's that?
Me: Well, he lies all the time and has been known to not pay his contractors.
Trumper:. When did he lie?. well, that's just to the media... (I'm thinking, this guy thinks it's okay to lie to the media!)
Me:. Well, I'm not going to get into that, but I even heard he didn't pay some of his lawyers, so yeah, I would be recording.
He didn't say much after that
Those times when I point out something untrue on Facebook and I'm told to "cease and desist"
Today my mother the Trumper posted a really nice picture of Melania and that's fine. She's not an ugly woman (at least not on the outside). And everyone was commenting about how lovely she is and someone just had to say something untrue.
She said: "I've never seen such vicious HATEFULNESS against a FLOTUS"
I had to comment "Really? What about all those memes floating around the internet with Michelle Obama as an ape? And what about when Obama wore a tan suit?"
She answered that I was right, Eleanor Roosevelt was made fun of because of her teeth and Barbara Bush was made fun of because of her pearls and because she looked old but that now I should "cease and desist"...
In other words STFU.
So I posted "Well, that was really rude"
Then my mother went in and deleted all the comments!
Then I posted "Interesting, someone says something rude to me and I'm not able to respond?" and that's where it stands.

Not sure if this is on national Fox News or if this is just local because I'm in Houston and 26 is our local station and sometimes our local Fox Station doesn't tow the Foxnews line in their local reporting. Ray is a local treasure. He took a case to the Supreme Court and won. He is the reason you cannot be arrested just for cursing at the police.

I took a while to answer, wasn't sure what to say. Today I finally answered:
