A most xlnt toon for our times...
?1546182594America already paid for a wall, Mr. Trump.
"Both Sides" NO MORE!
1) Now that Trump has caved in the shutdown fight, I'd like to suggest that there's a lesson in this outcome about the continuing blight of #BothSides media coverage.

Follow the Lies
They lied to the public for months before Donald Trump was elected and then repeatedly after he took office. They lied to Congress as lawmakers sought to investigate Russias attack on American democracy in 2016. And they lied to the FBI, even when they knew lying was a crime, the Washington Post reports.
In indictments and plea agreements unveiled over the last 20 months, special counsel Robert Mueller has shown over and over again that some of President Trumps closest friends and advisers have lied about Russia and related issues.
The remaining question for both Muellers team, as it works on a final investigative report, and for the American people is why.

"Trump's approach to governing seems to be, essentially:
January 25, 2019 the Salt Lake Tribune published this article:
Longest shutdown over: Trump signs bill to reopen government
So far there have been about 150 comments made by SL Tribune readers; this comment s one of the best I have seen so far:
1) Take a dump on the carpet
2) Complain loudly that there is a turd on the carpet
3) Blame the turd on everyone but him
4) Demand someone else clean up the turd
5) Smear the turd around
6) Say he cleaned up the turd better than anyone else could have
7) Declare victory
And somehow, 35% of the country still thinks he's great because Obama never took a dump on the carpet."

Good Morning, Mr. Conway, have you told your wife this?
Aggregate margin in PA, MI, and WI in 2016: 77,744 votes. Those votes were already long gone, and theyre never coming back.Privately, some of Mr. Trumps 2016 aides have said they are pessimistic about his path to 270 electoral votes after his partys midterm defeats in states like Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin
