Resist. And let your Dem Congresspeople know that they must also Resist.

He’s not a prize fighter. He’s a sucker puncher. But you get the idea: he’s down for the count and he knows it. He’s desperate, hoping (and getting as close as he is capable to pleading) that the Dems give him a hand up.

The middle finger is what we must offer him.
Fuck him and the snake oil wagon he rode in on. And fuck any Dems that take him up on anything at this point. This SOB is SOL. He must go down and, with him, everyone in his orbit. This movement (not even sure that’s a pun at this point) must be flushed.

This isn’t just the worst US President in history, it’s also the end of the American Democratic Experiment if Trump and his entire enterprise aren’t consigned to permanent and irrevocable Infamy.

Ex-FBI Agent On Trump's Loyalties: It's Trump 1st, Russia 2nd and the Rest of America 3rd

Watts went on to say that intelligence operatives saw hacks and leaks that were "synchronized" with the Trump campaign. "That tends to lead to the belief that there was coordination," he said. He also spoke about the "trail of dead Russians" that could lead to the confirmation of allegations raised by the infamous "Trump dossier."

This is about as close as any witness has come to asserting a direct relationship between Trump's campaign and the Russians. The CIA has already confirmed that Russian operatives were working to help Trump get elected and to hurt Hillary Clinton. The risks facing Watts for his testimony were on his mind during the Senate hearings. He told Blitzer that:

"If I speak today, my bank account could be compromised, I could be discredited through compromising materials, some true some false, but I think the biggest concern is I’m not confident right now that the U.S. government would actually come to bat for me. I’ve seen President Trump call for Russia to leak emails against a political opponent, I’ve seen him discredit the U.S. intelligence community to cite conspiracies that he’s seen on his Twitter feed.

"So, if I say things that the Trump administration doesn’t like or that is counter to Putin, I’m not sure it’s not Trump first, Russia second and the rest of America third."

That description of Trump's loyalties should send chills down the spine of every American. Watts' career has put him in dangerous positions around the world. He is no shrinking violet. But his doubts amount to an indictment of Trump's patriotism. Watts added that the Trump White House could not be relied on for anything but its own self-interests. "They will push falsehoods to achieve political objectives," he said, "before they will push the truth for the American people."

WASHINGTONMike Flynn, President Donald Trump'ss former national security adviser, has told the Federal Bureau of Investigation and congressional officials investigating the Trump campaigns potential ties to Russia that he is willing to be interviewed in exchange for a grant of immunity from prosecution, according to officials with knowledge of the matter.

As an adviser to Mr. Trumps presidential campaign, and later one of Mr. Trumps top aides in the White House, Mr. Flynn was privy to some of the most sensitive...

Russian trolls used to impact election in exactly the key swing states that pushed Trump over top

The Kremlin paid an army of more than 1,000 people to create fake anti-Hillary Clinton news stories targeting key swing states, the leading Democrat on the committee looking into alleged Russian interference in the US election has said.

,,,

Mr Warner said: “We know about the hacking, and selective leaks, but what really concerns me as a former tech guy is at least some reports – and we’ve got to get to the bottom of this – that there were upwards of a thousand internet trolls working out of a facility in Russia, in effect taking over a series of computers which are then called botnets, that can then generate news down to specific areas.

“It’s been reported to me, and we’ve got to find this out, whether they were able to affect specific areas in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, where you would not have been receiving off of whoever your vendor might have been, Trump versus Clinton, during the waning days of the election, but instead, ‘Clinton is sick’, or ‘Clinton is taking money from whoever for some source’ … fake news.

“An outside foreign adversary effectively sought to hi-jack the most critical democratic process, the election of a President, and in that process, decided to favour one candidate over another.”

Mexico says fuck you asshole, we'll boycott your corn. Trump WH shits pants.

Mexico is threatening to use the power of corn to fight Donald Trump's tough talk on trade:

As President Trump threatens Mexico with drastic changes on trade, its leaders are wielding corn as a weapon. Mexico’s Senate is considering legislation calling for a boycott of U.S. corn, and the government has begun negotiating with Argentina and Brazil to import corn from those nations tax-free. The threat of a boycott is Mexico’s latest and perhaps cleverest attempt to fight back against Trump, whose threats to pull out of free trade agreements and slap a 20% import tax on Mexican products have shaken confidence in Mexico’s economy.

And apparently it's working:

The Trump administration is signaling to Congress it would seek mostly modest changes to the North American Free Trade Agreement in upcoming negotiations with Mexico and Canada, a deal President Donald Trump called a “disaster” during the campaign.

....The draft, reviewed by The Wall Street Journal, talks of seeking “to improve procedures to resolve disputes,” rather than eliminating the panels. The U.S. also wouldn’t use the Nafta negotiations to deal with disputes over foreign currency policies or to hit numerical targets for bilateral trade deficits, as some trade hawks have been urging.

....Jeffrey Schott, a trade scholar at the Peterson Institute for International Economics...noted that a number of the proposed negotiating objectives echo provisions in the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a 12-nation trade pact among Pacific Rim countries. Mr. Trump campaigned heavily against the TPP.

Do not underestimate the power of corn! Alternatively, maybe corn has nothing to do with it. Maybe Trump was just blathering all along and never really had any intention of getting tough with Mexico. In the end, he'll build a few more miles of fencing, make a few modest changes to NAFTA, and then call it the greatest boon to the working man since the Wagner Act. I've also read a few pieces recently about China, and apparently all those Goldman Sachs folks he hired have talked Trump into backing down on a trade war there too. I guess Goldman Sachs has to be good for something.
