James O'Keefe Tries to Entrap Hillary, Fails Spectacularly
Comes now word from Time Magazine that two women approached the Hillary Clinton campaign in Iowa and tried to entrap campaign officials into breaking the law. Does that sound like the MO of anyone we know? Fortunately, the officials weren't born yesterday, and now the campaign is on guard against future stunts of this nature. And so James O'Keefe can add another entry to the long list of things he's failed at.

In another instance, a woman volunteering with the Clinton campaign on voter registration efforts in Iowa City returned to the campaign’s office in Des Moines and asked whether it was okay that she refuse to register people who don’t support Clinton, the campaign official said. The Clinton campaign maintains that its policy is to register all voters, regardless of their preference in candidates.

In an example of the kind of shrewd attention to detail that O'Keefe is famous for,
the phone number given by the women is listed on the website of a University of Minnesota organization called "Students for a Conservative Voice." Oops! Even better, one of the women was subsequently identified as Laura Loomer, a student at Barry University who illegally videotaped a professor earlier this year in what sounds like a fairly pathetic attempt to frame him for supporting ISIS. The university subsequently suspended Loomer, and the professor filed criminal charges against her. One would think that an individual under this kind of legal scrutiny would be well advised to avoid committing additional illegal acts, but you know what they say about the criminal element.
Kudos to Team Hillary for catching these (admittedly incompetent) crooks in the act, and I hope Team Bernie takes note and instructs its offices to be on the lookout for O'Keefe's criminals.

He said the document contains wrong terminology and other signs it may be fake.
Tariq Rauf, the former head of verification and security policy coordination at the International Atomic Energy Agency, told The Huffington Post that a document the AP described as a transcript of a draft agreement between Iran and the IAEA, published on Thursday, appears bogus, designed to undermine the real agreement and the broader nuclear pact negotiated between Iran, the U.S., and five world powers.

Planned Parenthood Set To Sue The Criminals Behind Edited Video Smears
Planned Parenthood is planning swift retribution against the perpetrators of the deplorable and illegal smear campaign that has been leveled against the vital women’s health non-profit by far-right wing anti-abortion extremists. The Center for Medical Progress, which does not employ any medical professionals, arranged a vast fraud by creating a fake biomedical company in order to attempt to “purchase” fetal tissues, secretly recording interviews with Planned Parenthood officials and then editing the footage to mislead and misrepresent the discussion that actually took place.
Planned Parenthood Executive Vice President Dawn Laguens told The Hill that her organization is set to take action against the CMP: “I absolutely do believe that they have violated laws in terms of how they secured these videos… But the fraud is also in how they have presented them and in the editing.”Several of the videos were recorded in California, where it is illegal to record a conversation without the consent of both parties.
Thirteen states have squandered countless tax dollars on “investigating” Planned Parenthood. Not a single one has uncovered any sort of questionable conduct or misuse of materials. The fetal tissue extracted from aborted fetuses is used in critical medical research, attempting to cure deadly diseases like HIV/AIDS.
The right-wing’s vicious smear campaign against women’s rights and healthcare will ultimately amount to naught. President Obama has already threatened to take action against states that cut Medicaid funds to Planned Parenthood, which are not used for abortions in anyway. Senate Democrats have already stymied one attempt to cut the group’s federal funding entirely. The polls show that Planned Parenthood is more popular among Americans than every single Republican candidate for president. The American people recognize the incredible work that Planned Parenthood does across the world. The non-profit deserves much better than to be besmirched by religious zealots.

Benghazi Committee Members May Have Violated Law by Handling Hillary's Classified Email
If she was at fault for having classified information on her server without her knowledge, Mr. Fallon suggested, then aren’t other people in the same boat?
“Just as an aside, for the I.G. to now declare the material as classified, since it was provided by State to the House Benghazi committee earlier this year in unredacted form, presumably that means that members of the House Benghazi committee may have unwittingly handled classified material on unclassified systems within the House of Representatives,” Mr. Fallon said.
“Now, I don’t think that anybody here at the Clinton campaign is going to say that members of, say, Chairman Gowdy’s staff should have their computers confiscated for having possibly trafficked in classified material,” he said. “I don’t think we would say that. But that is, fundamentally, the same logic behind the I.G.’s referral to the State Department with respect to Mrs. Clinton’s server, since she was at worst a passive recipient of unwitting information that subsequently became deemed as classified. Let’s raise that as an aside.”
