John Dean thinks trump recorded call to SOS GA

Love how John Dean is an analytical thinker!!

John Dean thinks Trump is the one who recorded Georgia's Raffensperger and released the tape

Former White House counsel to Richard Nixon, John Dean, took to Twitter Sunday evening to speculate that the one behind the now-infamous extortion tape of Donald Trump may have been the president or one of his staff.

Dean noted that the audio of the recording made Trump sound the loudest and the clearest. That indicates that the person recording it is the clearer one. He also said that it sounds almost as if the others on the call are on a speakerphone, which would make sense if Trump or his staff was recording it near the president's phone.

If Trump was the one behind the call, it begs the question of whether other calls he makes are recorded. How many of them were recorded? With whom? And why they haven't been released by the president who pledged full transparency.

With Dipshit now and saying no to $2k?

What can Dems do to replace some of the on the edge hourly breaking news"?

YES YES YES... For four years it's been non-stop crazy horror. Normalcy, yes!!! But listening to Dana Bash right now...snooze.

But don't think boring is normalcy. Surely there are good ideas to add some excitement to normalcy.

National lottery of some kind? Biden surprises a classroom somewhere? I got nothing.

COVID-19 could complicate Pelosi's path to Speaker next year

https://thehill.com/homenews/house/530945-covid-19-could-complicate-pelosis-path-to-speaker-next-year

As Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) seeks the support to keep the gavel for another term, her allies are keeping close watch on a potential wild card that could complicate her path next month: COVID-19.

Pelosi is already facing a much slimmer majority in the next Congress, after Democrats were clobbered at the polls in November, meaning she can afford far fewer Democratic defections than the 15 who opposed her two years ago. And lawmakers must be present on the House floor to cast their vote for Speaker, precluding the option for members to vote remotely, as many have done throughout the pandemic.

The combination of factors creates the chance that Democrats could face a dilemma on Jan. 3 in which Pelosi locks up the Democratic support to remain Speaker, but coronavirus concerns illnesses, quarantines or otherwise prevent a sufficient number of them from being in the Capitol to log their votes.
