It looks like day before the Russians hit the train station in Kramatorsk they bombed the road ....

... out of town so if you wanted to escape the town and go west you had to take the train. Hence the
rail station might have had even more people there when they hit it with a missile attack. They hit
women, children, and seniors trying to flee the war they caused. Putin and company were trying to cause
even more death and bloodshed.

Kill 'em all and that starts with Putin. If you are a Russian fighter in Ukraine and you don't surrender then
you should be dead. BTW I don't see the Ukrainians being "nice" to any Russian POWs.

BTW a little help please from my smart DU friends how do you pronounce Kramatorsk?

Eric Boehlert, "Why is the press rooting against Biden?"

Like clockwork, the first Friday of the month brought another blockbuster jobs report. The U.S. economy under President Joe Biden added another 400,000-plus new jobs in March, it was announced last week.

Biden is currently on pace, during his first two full years in office, to oversee the creation of 10 million new jobs and an unemployment rate tumbling all the way down to 3 percent. That would be an unprecedented accomplishment in U.S. history. Context: In four years in office, Trump lost three million jobs, the worst record since Herbert Hoover.

Yet the press shrugs off the good news, determined to keep Biden pinned down. “The reality is that one strong jobs report does not snap the administration out of its current circumstances,” Politico stressed Friday afternoon. How about 11 straight strong job reports, would that do the trick? Because the U.S. economy under Biden has been adding more than 400,000 jobs per month for 11 straight months.

snip

Virtually all the Beltway coverage today agrees on this central point: When it comes to the economy, Biden’s approval rating is taking a hit because Americans are freaked out by inflation. But maybe it’s taking a hit because Americans are under the false impression that jobs are disappearing. Voters don’t know what they don’t know because the press isn’t interested in telling them about record job success and an economy that’s years ahead of where experts thought it would be coming out of a global pandemic.

Trump said, "He's (Putin) going to go in and be a peacekeeper."

Liz Cheney, “The Putin wing of the G.O.P.”

In the days leading up to the invasion, Trump praised Putin for recognizing Ukraine’s economic
and strategic value to Russia. “He’s going to go in and be a peacekeeper,” Trump said. “We could
use that on our southern border.”

NY Times The G.O.P.'s 'Putin Wing'

Liz Cheney, “The Putin wing of the G.O.P.”

April 7, 2022, 6:32 a.m. ET

Donald Trump turned Vladimir Putin into a popular figure among a significant segment of Republican voters. As a candidate, president and ex-president, Trump has repeatedly praised Putin, calling him “strong,” “savvy” and “genius.” Trump has also echoed Putin’s ideology, by harshly criticizing NATO.

Taking their cue from Trump, some Republican voters began to view Putin more favorably. A YouGov poll in January found that Republicans viewed Putin more favorably than they viewed President Biden, Kamala Harris or Nancy Pelosi.

Putin’s invasion of Ukraine has changed the situation, damaging his popularity in the U.S., even among Republicans. If anything, many Republican voters say they wish the Biden administration would take more aggressive action to help Ukraine, according to the Pew Research Center. Yet Trump’s effect on Putin’s popularity has not entirely disappeared: There is still a meaningful faction of Republican elites who feel an affinity for the Russian president.

Today’s newsletter looks at this faction. Representative Liz Cheney, the Wyoming Republican and frequent Trump critic, describes it as “the Putin wing of the G.O.P.” It both admires him as a strong leader and likes his right-wing nationalism, including his opposition to NATO, Western liberalism and L.G.B.T. rights.

Don't forget these GOP senators too.

Everyone of them voted to let Donald Trump off the hook about blackmailing Zelenskyy and Ukraine
to rat fuck our elections by withholding military aid. And Trump withheld military aid as Zelenskyy
and Ukraine were actively fighting Russian invaders in the Donbas region.

Those GOP senators put their party over our country, our Ukrainian allies and standing up
to Vlad Putin. Only Romney voted to hold Trump accountable.

Mitch McConnell after blocking the American people and members of Congress from seeing
the evidence of Trump's trying to blackmail Zelenskyy by blocking military aid to the Ukraine.

Go Joe, Murdoch the 'most dangerous man in the world,' Trump should be prosecuted for January 6 riot

Biden called Murdoch the 'most dangerous man in the world,' new book alleges

New York (CNN Business)In a forthcoming book, a pair of New York Times reporters and CNN political analysts report that President Joe Biden "assessed" Fox News "as one of the most destructive forces in the United States."

The reporters, Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns, say that Biden was even more critical of Fox Corp patriarch Rupert Murdoch.

According to the book, Biden told an unnamed associate in mid-2021 that Murdoch was "the most dangerous man in the world."

Biden privately said Trump should be prosecuted for January 6 riot and is frustrated with AG Garland for not taking 'decisive action': report

President Joe Biden privately said that former President Donald Trump should be prosecuted over the January 6 insurrection at the US Capitol, The New York Times reported on Saturday.

In addition, the president described Trump as a "threat to democracy," according to two individuals with knowledge of the conversation who spoke with the newspaper.

The Times said that their report was based on interviews with more than a dozen people, "including officials in the Biden administration and people with knowledge of the president's thinking." All requested anonymity to speak freely, the paper said.

Biden has reportedly grown frustrated with US Attorney General Merrick Garland, who is investigating the riot, according to people close to the president. The president has described Garland as a "ponderous judge" and said he wants to see him take more "decisive action" regarding the Capitol siege, according to The Times.

Skiba speaks for me after seeing what the Russians have been doing and are still doing in Ukraine.

&t=165s 2:38

Skiba, what is your main aim in this life for you today?

(Skiba ….. tough looking mother fucker) Kill Russian Fuckers.

*******
All Russian troops in Ukraine need to die now. The world needs to give the Ukrainian fighters what they need
including those advanced fighter jets from Sweden and the weapons that can take out the Russian missiles, planes,
and naval ships, help the refugees, kill every Russian that does not leave or surrenders (including Dumbas & Crimea),
and help in rebuilding the nation. Much of the brick, concrete, wood, and metal from all those ruined buildings can
be recycled to build new buildings, roads, and rail systems. And the energy grid can be built back green too.
