Damn I miss Linda Ronstadt

If anybody "out there" knows her, her family, or her friends please tell her she is loved, she
gave me and others so much joy, and I hope she gets to enjoy "things".

What a voice. Right up there with Ella Fitzgerald.

Rudy, "He's leaving on a midnight train to Georgia."

Judge Robert C.I. McBurney ruled last week that Mr. Giuliani could always travel “on a train, on a bus or Uber.”

Rudy, "He's leaving on a midnight train to Georgia."

On Wednesday, Mr. Giuliani is set to return to Atlanta, this time under very different circumstances.

The former New York City mayor, who was serving as Mr. Trump’s personal lawyer after the November 2020 election, is scheduled to appear on Wednesday before a Fulton County special grand jury conducting a criminal investigation into post election meddling by Mr. Trump and his associates. Local prosecutors informed Mr. Giuliani’s lawyers this week that he was a “target” of that investigation, meaning that his indictment was possible.

Mr. Giuliani’s lawyers fought to keep him from having to travel to Atlanta. Instead, they offered to have him appear via video conference, and argued that he was too feeble to travel by air after having a pair of cardiac stents inserted in early July. But Judge Robert C.I. McBurney ruled last week that Mr. Giuliani could always travel “on a train, on a bus or Uber.” On Monday, a lawyer for Mr. Giuliani declined to say how his client planned to get to Atlanta from New York.

Senator Lindsey Graham was ordered by a federal judge on Monday to appear before the special grand jury, after Mr. Graham tried to find a way out of it. Mr. Graham, a South Carolina Republican, said he would take the case to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, arguing that under the Speech and Debate clause of the Constitution, his status as a senator shielded him from having to testify.

Trump is privately pushing 'false flag' conspiracy theory about Ohio FBI building attacker

Former President Donald Trump is pushing the claim that the man who was shot dead after while trying to breach an FBI building was part of a false flag operation, Rolling Stone reports.

In an attack that appeared to be a direct response to the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago, an armed man tried to storm an FBI office in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The assailant, who was shot dead by police after exchanges of gunfire and an hours-long standoff, reportedly posted on Trump's Truth Social platform that he hoped his actions would serve as a "call to arms."

While Trump hasn't mentioned the conspiracy theory publicly, sources tell Rolling Stone that he's been telling people close to him that the attacker, Ricky Shiffer -- who was on law enforcement's radar due to his connection to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot -- might actually have been someone acting to discredit Trump supporters.

Turns out he was from Columbus. And I was blaming him from being from S.W. OH (Klan Country).

An armed man who was fatally shot Thursday by Ohio law enforcement after he attempted to break into the FBI's suburban Cincinnati's office and exchanged gunfire with police said on a social media account that he was an electrician living in Columbus.

The man, identified by law enforcement authorities as 42-year-old Ricky Walter Shiffer, appears to have most recently lived in Omaha, Nebraska, and the St. Petersburg and Tampa areas in Florida, records indicate. However, he has had several Columbus addresses in the past and was a registered voter in Franklin County from at least as far back as 2013 and last voted here in the November 2020 election. Records show he began voting in Florida in the April 2021 primary.

Let's look at what happened to the last people who did what Trump might be charged with: (Espionage)

Robert Hanssen

With the representation of Washington lawyer Plato Cacheris, Hanssen negotiated a plea bargain that enabled him to escape the death penalty in exchange for cooperating with authorities.

Hanssen pled guilty to 15 counts of espionage on July 6, 2001. On May 10, 2002, he was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

He is serving his sentence at the ADX Florence, a federal supermax prison near Florence, Colorado, in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day.

Julius and Ethel Rosenberg

Julius Rosenberg (May 12, 1918 – June 19, 1953) and Ethel Rosenberg ( née Greenglass; September 28, 1915 – June 19, 1953) were American citizens who were convicted of spying on behalf of the Soviet Union. The couple were convicted of providing top-secret information about radar, sonar, jet propulsion engines and valuable nuclear weapon designs.

The Rosenbergs were the only American civilians executed for espionage during the Cold War.

*******

BTW Trump is a knowing an active asset to Vlad Putin and Russia too.

Trump is a national security and flight risk.

His passport needs to be seized, he should be put under house arrest, he needs an ankle monitor,
and he should be in front some kind of Fed. Judge ASAP

A search warrant viewed by POLITICO reveals that the FBI is investigating Donald Trump for a potential violation of the Espionage Act and removed classified documents from the former president’s Florida estate earlier this week.

A receipt accompanying the search warrant, viewed by POLITICO on Friday, shows that Trump possessed documents including a handwritten note; documents marked with “TS/SCI,” which indicate one of the highest levels of government classification; and another item labeled “Info re: President of France.”

The warrant shows federal law enforcement was investigating Trump for removal or destruction of records, obstruction of an investigation, and violating the Espionage Act. Conviction under the statutes can result in imprisonment or fines.

I wonder if Vlad has this little "fixer up" ready for the Trump family? You know Melania will not be going.

Trump's 440 times of taking the 5th in his NY civil trial could be taken as 440 guilty pleas.

I asked my lawyer/neighbor/friend and the burden of proof in civil trial is different from a criminal
trial. In a civil trial it is the is the preponderance of evidence not proof beyond reasonable doubt.

In a civil case that might be seen as 440 guilty pleas. Trump is so fucked. All of Trump's businesses in New York
might be shut down by Letitia James.

Former President Donald Trump pleaded the Fifth Amendment at least 440 times on Wednesday to avoid answering questions in his four-hour deposition with New York Attorney General Letitia James’s office in lower Manhattan about business dealings at his real estate company, according to NBC News.

I imagine it as a chilling final turn of the plot. His world is coming to an end. He will never have another good day. Loser label will haunt him. The law will pursue him. Mental illness will hobble him. His properties will bankrupt him.

Why did Donald Trump steal America's most classified nuclear secrets ?

Answer To keep them safe from Hunter Biden's laptop.

*************

What are "they" gonna say now? Donald Trump was caught red handed with America's nuclear weapons secrets and he had or was going to sell them to our enemies and was risking thermonuclear war so he could make money. His ass should be locked up today. At the very least he needs to be in front of a federal judge and put under house arrest with an ankle monitor on him. It doesn't get any worse than this.

Too bad that MAGA idiot from Cincinnati* didn't live long to see Trump sell out America's top secrets.

* S.W. Ohio is thick with those mouth breathers they have had 70+ years of hate talk radio there, Lebanon, OH
is the home of the Klan in OH, and most of the white christo fascist shits arrested @ the Charlottesville, VA riots
had been from S.W. OH or had spent time there.

Garland just dropped a well placed bomb on Trump and all the pro Trump media spin after the FBI ....

... search with his statement today.

He dared Trump to block the unsealing of the search warranty and the property seized invoice which
when released should show what laws Trump broke and then he called out Fox and so on for lying
about the work of the men & women of the FBI and the DoJ.

Watch how quick Trump now tries to block the unsealing of the warrant and the release of the property
invoice.
