Good God in Butter this is depressing. And yet we have
a party, much of the media, Joe Manchin, and TPTB in lock step with the fossil fuel industries who right now are killing the supportive capacities of our home aka the earth. Until our sun becomes a red giant the earth will be here but humans not so much.
Sunday evening we had a short thunderstorm where you could here and feel it coming in but you could not see the rain clouds because of the smoke but the rain fell through all that forest fire smoke and Dog only knows what kind of potentially toxic compounds those rain drops brought down with them.
this is the end of the world as we know it.
My heart is heavy and I'm depressed because the smoke from the Canadian forest fires is in the ....
.... air here in Central OH. You can smell it, you can see it, and those fires are a result of
climate change from our use of fossil fuels. The areas that are burning now or have been burned
in Canada should never carry these kinds of fires because they should be covered with snow 4 to
8 months out of the year and the rest of the year the ground level should be really damp w/ferns,
moss, blueberries, rotting wood, lichens, and tons of swamps, lakes, creeks, rivers, and bogs.

Danny Calhoun was one of several dozen voters lined up outside of the Franklin County Board of Elections on Morse Road Tuesday to vote early in the Aug. 8 special election.
Calhoun, a Westerville resident sporting a bright black and yellow New York Yankees baseball cap, said he would vote against Issue 1, a proposed constitutional amendment that would make it harder to pass such amendments in the future. If passed, it would raise the threshold to pass an amendment to the Ohio Constitution from 50% plus one to 60% and require signatures from all 88 Ohio counties to get one on a ballot.
Calhoun said a likely constitutional amendment to enshrine a right to abortion access and reproductive healthcare in November is another reason he is voting no on Issue 1. He expressed frustration at the Ohio Legislature, which is controlled by Republicans, for putting this measure on the ballot.
"It's important to me that as citizens, that we're represented fair and correctly. And the idea that a few people can make decisions for the collective to me is just wrong," he said.
Calhoun said he was encouraged to see a large turnout in Franklin County. He is usually an early voter and it's only the second or third time he's stood in a line to vote early.

Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose, a Republican who supports Issue 1, said he expected voter turnout for the special election to be low.

said was wrong, and then when told that the Washington Post had it on tape both McCarthy and his staff started
saying "it was just a joke." A line McCarthy still uses to this day when the subject is brought up and McCarthy is
also well aware that Tony DeVolder's (Santos) '22 campaign was paid for by Oleg Deripaska the same Russian
who was paying FBI Agent McDonigal to rat fuck the HRC campaign in 2016.

My next door neighbor's wife is 1st a first generation born in America Chinese/American
and her father owned and was cook in a Chinese restaurant in Iowa but is now living with
the family in Columbus and he makes me dishes that are amazing. One thing is what he
calls "Chinese Salad" and it is made with his homemade sweet vinger, celery, onions, jalapeño
pepper (from my garden), garlic, and red bell peppers and he lets it sit for 48 hours before
he serves it. My neighbor across the street is Russian and she bakes a dark crusty rye bread
and serves it with thick beet and sour cream sauce.

An attorney disciplinary committee has recommended Rudy Giuliani be disbarred in Washington, DC, for his efforts on behalf of then-President Donald Trump to overturn the 2020 election results.
The committee, which weighs cases of legal ethics and attorney misconduct in the District of Columbia, issued the report and recommendation on Giuliani on Friday following a lawyer misconduct hearing for Giuliani in December that functioned like a trial.
“He claimed massive election fraud but had no evidence of it,” the committee wrote. “By prosecuting that destructive case Mr. Giuliani, a sworn officer of the Court, forfeited his right to practice law. He should be disbarred.”
The panel’s recommendation is not final; the case against Giuliani still must be considered by DC’s Board on Professional Responsibility and by the DC court of appeals.
