CaliforniaPeggy's JournalSome flowers and veggies, from today's trip to the farmer's market:
These were all taken with my 12--45 mm lens.
And last but not least: Happy Hallowe'en, everybody!
I took this photo back in Nov/2011 and recently encountered it in my dusty archives.
It was taken with my Nikon D3200 camera with the Nikkor 50 mm fixed focal length lens. I loved this photo then, and I still love it. Since the lens is a fixed focal length, I had to judge very carefully how to shoot it. I am amazed how well it turned out. I only shot in Auto then. And this is not a mirrorless camera.
Hope you enjoy!
My dear Bundbuster: thank you so very much for your kind words! I may be blushing . . .
I try to live up to my sigline! Sometimes I don't want to try or feel like trying. But normally I'm better than that.
I had no conscious idea that your lifetime favorite flower is the white rose! Perhaps I knew, subconsciously.
Thank you!
The Strand -- Just One More!
This is a cropped view from one of the photos I posted earlier today. I spotted this insect near the top right of the photo and wanted to highlight it. No idea what it is!
It was taken with my 100--400mm lens.
The Strand
You all know how much I love the farmer's market photos. But today I felt like exploring a different environment.
I used both lenses: the new 12--45mm, and the giant 100--400mm. And I had a ball!
