In an effort to improve ratings MSNBC is throwing itself down the toilet by replacing Ed Schultz with Chuck Todd.
The good news is that MSNBC's decision-makers aren't medical practitioners.

There's something missing from the Dems' gathering in Iowa:
There is no clown car.
We should be damned proud of that.
It's gonna be a long year.

Just saw an ad for “No Labels.”
Their vaunted anti-partisan façade crumbled during Colorados senate race in 2014, when the group came out swinging on behalf of tea party/big oil darling Cory Gardner in his bid to unseat Mark Udall. Gardners well deserved bought-and-paid-for reputation, in contrast to Udalls steady and respected fair mindedness, should have been a red flag. Instead, No Labels proved itself to be just another republican wolf in sheeps clothing. Pardon my cynicism, but No Labels would be more properly named Cmere, suckers! Thanks in no small part to "No Labels" Colorado lost a damned fine senator, and the Koch's gained a piss-poor substitute.
Lame duck is kicking ass.
Gotta say, it's pretty awesome watching POTUS taking no crap from reporters (at Iran news conference).
About time.
"accidental" premature announcement
If a government is able to show more compassion than your church,
If a government is able to show more compassion than your church, maybe you should join another churchMargaret, the news has just been fast and furious this week. One fugitive dead and one still on the run. ISIS attacks in France, Kuwait and Tunisia. Donald Trump becoming the new leader of the Tea Party. I wonder what flag that Confederacy of Dunces will fly now that the Stars and Bars is being removed? Oh and something about a trade bill being passed and God hating America. That last one seems to be getting the most play over on Fox News. Never in my life did I think I would live long enough to see the gays persecuting the Christians instead of the other way around. That was actually a Fox Exclusive!
I read somewhere that Glen Beck has 10,000 to 20,000 pastors ready to die before gay marriage would become legal. Funny. I havent seen any obituaries printed. Religious conviction has its limits I guess, but that really is one herd I would love to see thinned. Of course if a government is able to show more compassion than your church, maybe you should join another church.
Its just so odd that all this hatred and discrimination seems to be emanating from a bunch of Republicans who claim to represent Jesus. Now there is a conundrum. As a Christian politician do you abide by the law of the land and treat others with love and respect or do you follow the teachings of Jesus and treat others with love and respect? Such a dilemma.
I look forward to the day the Supreme Court rules that a political party cant have a monopoly on God. I mean it really.
