Been at Denver airport since noon, our weather had cleared but there have been multiple delays with flights from other areas. Our departure was changed several times, then the gate was changed twice. The connecting flight FINALLY arrived, then they announced that the flight crew was being sent to another plane and our flight was cancelled. They sent us to the customer service desk, and the line is literally the length of the terminal. Meanwhile, I had to get out of line to find a place to plug in my portable oxygen machine to recharge it; absolute necessity. So, here I sit. No idea what's going to happen, I don't even know where to retrieve my checked luggage. At this hour, the shuttles are no longer running to my town, and the only hotel at the airport is like $800 a night. I'm guessing it's going to be a verrrrry long, uncomfortable night. Fingers crossed that something good will happen by morning, but there's not even a place to stretch out. At the moment, I'm cussing quietly to myself, but that's likely to change soon. I was really looking forward to being in Seattle!
Pardon my waaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh.........
Eggnog with an Elector
Just attended our local Dems annual holiday party, where we were joined by one of our states electors. He mentioned that hes been getting some very interesting mail, snail variety included. But he really wanted to let us know that he will absolutely be voting for Hillary Clinton. And not just because he supported her and worked hard on her campaign. He will be casting that vote in honor of and respect for the voters who chose Hillary Clinton over every other candidate.
I asked him, What are you hoping for on December 19th?
His answer: December 20th. No doubt.

Judge rejects Electoral College lawsuit in Colorado: A political stunt
DENVER It was a history lesson and a chance to make history in a federal courtroom this afternoon where a judge ruled how the Electoral College works or doesnt will remain unchanged.
At least for now.
Around 5 p.m., U.S. District Judge Wiley Y. Daniel denied a temporary restraining order and an injunction to stop Colorado from enforcing a state law that says electors must vote for the presidential candidate who won the state.
The landmark lawsuit, brought by two Colorado electors, both Democrats, sought to declare the state law unconstitutional. They are former Democratic Sen. Polly Baca and Colorado Springs math teacher Bob Nemanich.
