Here we go again, second time today.

Second time:

Tried the same steps that cleared everything the first time; not working this time.

Like with the first event, I can still open everything in a new window. But I really don't like having that thing lingering in my computer.

Any ideas??

UPDATE: Did a reboot, thing remained. Did repeated attempts with control-alt-delete and task manager to shut down browser -- it worked on the 6th attempt. This is getting tedious, ain't it?!

So this showed up when my screen image froze, purports to be from Microsoft. Obviously, I was able to open everything in another window. But I'd like to get rid of the "frozen" screen, it won't let me "X" out.
Any suggestions?

UPDATE: I did the control-alt-delete to task manager and ended the browser; the thing went away.
