So this was at the top of my email inbox this morning. It just never stops. And there are likely many seniors/disabled who are now in a state of panic. Hope SSA gets out in front of this!

What did I do now?!

Not a huge thing, but the 'speakers' icon that I click on to control volume has quit working. The other icons beside it still work, but when I click on the speakers the usual control window doesn't appear, nothing happens. The computer still gives sounds for other functions, I just can't access volume control. Any ideas about what I did to cause this, maybe fix it?
