George Zimmerman Accused of Molesting Family Member in Newly-Released Witness Testimony

Following a judge's ruling allowing its release, prosecutors just made public testimony from an anonymous witness in the case of George Zimmerman — who shot and killed Trayvon Martin, an unarmed 17-year-old, in February — as well as phone calls Zimmerman made from jail.

According to WFTV, the witness (known as "Witness 9&quot accuses Zimmerman of molesting her, and claims that Zimmerman's family is racist:

Witness No. 9 not only said that Zimmerman is a racist, but during an interview with investigators, she stated that Zimmerman molested her from the age of 6 on through her teenaged years, according to the documents.

The witness claims that Zimmerman's entire family is racist and said Zimmerman's mother made it clear she didn't like President Barack Obama because he is black.

Springsteen and McCartney play to 80,000 in Hyde Park: Police pull the plug.

Rock stars Bruce Springsteen and Sir Paul McCartney had the plug pulled on them after over-running at a concert in London's Hyde Park.
Headline act Springsteen welcomed Sir Paul on stage for renditions of the Beatles' I Saw Her Standing There and Twist and Shout. But their microphones were turned off before they could thank the crowds.

Springsteen had exceeded the time limit for the Hard Rock Calling event after playing for more than three hours.
It made for a slightly bizarre, anti-climactic end to what had been a fantastic show," said Stephen Robb, a BBC reporter who was at the event.
The band obviously couldn't tell from on stage that the sound had been shut off.

"It just looked a bit like everyone was milling about on stage having forgotten how the show should end."
Guitarist Steven Van Zandt, a member of Springsteen's E Street Band, was angered by the forced curtailment, accusing "English cops" of preventing "80,000 people having a good time".When did England become a police state?" he wrote on Twitter.

Joke: The new upward mobility in America

My boss pulled up in his brand new BMW today and I couldn't help but admire it.

"Nice car," I said as he got out.

"Well," he said, noticing my admiring looks, "Work hard, put the hours in, and I'll have an even better one next year.

‘Swift and sure justice’ will only apply to non-banking crimes, government reassures bankers

Police Minister Nick Herbert is set to announce plans to ensure that criminals whose crimes aren’t carried out within the banking industry are dealt with in days or possibly hours.

Speaking on BBC Radio 4?s Today programme, Mr Herbert reassured bankers that any investigation into fraudulent activity in the banking industry would continue to be such a long drawn-out affair that it would inevitably end up being forgotten about.

“The whole point of these reforms is to put the victims first, but only victims of poor people’s crime, not the stuff that’s carried out by people in expensive suits,” he said.

“It is in the interest of justice that poor people are dealt with appropriately and, where they are going to court, that they are brought to court as soon as possible.”

“We don’t want to continue with a system that allows them to have a trial that could find them not guilty.”

Swift and sure justice

Mr Herbert is also expected to announce that courts across England and Wales will have more flexible hours to deal with non-banking crimes quickly, while bankers will continue to be investigated by MPs if and when they can be arsed.

“The best way to ensure that poor people are locked up quickly is to make sure that they have no defence,” he explained.
“We don’t want to give these people time to provide an explanation or plausible reason for their actions.”

“We just want them out of sight and out of mind.”

"Mr. Romney retired from Bain Capital on February 11, 1999 " Official words

In response to the news that Mitt Romney may have committed a felony by lying in federal documents about when exactly he left Bain Capital, the Romney campaign today lied about Romney's lie.

Here's what Romney himself claimed (via his campaign) in documents filed with the federal government:

"Mr. Romney retired from Bain Capital on February 11, 1999 to head the Salt Lake Organizing Committee."

Here's what the Romney campaign is now claiming that Romney said in those documents:

"FactCheck was saying, if Mitt Romney was actively managing Bain, as the Globe asserts, and he certified that he wasn't actively managing Bain, then he would be guilty of a federal felony," McDonald said. "They are not saying that he would be guilty of a federal felony [just] for saying he left in 1999." [emphasis added]

Actually, a fact sheet from Factcheck.org isn't the basis for determining whether something is a felony. But putting that aside, since the Romney campaign wants to go there... contrary to what the Romney campaign is now alleging,

Romney didn't say in federal documents that he "wasn't actively managing Bain." He said that he had "retired."

And retired means you're gone. And Romney wasn't "gone" at all. He remained the CEO, chair of the board, and sole stockholder, we now know from SEC documents filed by Bain.

Sarah Palin refuses to rule out presidential run saying 'anything's possible'

The former Republican vice-presidential candidate told a CNN reporter she would “seriously consider whatever I can do to help our country” when asked if she would agree to being put forward if the party faced a brokered convention.

The Tea Party darling also indicated she would consider running in the 2016 presidential race, if asked.

"Anything in this life, in this world is possible. Anything is possible for an American. I don't discount any idea or plan that, at this point, isn't in my control. Anything's possible,” she said.

Pre-nup agreement gives Tom Cruise sole custody

THE pre-nuptial agreement between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes guarantees the Mission Impossible actor sole custody of his wife’s Operating Thetan

Scientology insiders revealed that the ‘pre-nup’ was ‘water tight’ ensuring Cruise would retain the part of his wife’s eternal existence that can control matter, energy, space and time.

A source said: “Tom already has the Operating Thetans of his first two wives which he keeps in his mind fridge.

“He is sad that his latest marriage has come to an end but hopes that by devouring all three Operating Thetans through a secret hole in the middle of his forehead he will gain total dominion over the realm of thought-space and challenge Xenu, the 75 billion year old mega-being, for the title of Lord of the Ultra-Sponge.”

The source added: “Katie was very reluctant to give up the rights to her Thetan and only agreed to it in exchange for $33 million.

“As you can imagine, she is also very sad.”
