A child trafficker bought this girl from her parents, forcing her to sell flowers on Bangkok's streets. She was electrocuted if she didn't work.
Thursday is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, a day to spread awareness of labor trafficking and sexual exploitation around the world.
Trafficking in persons also known as human trafficking or modern slavery is described by the U.S. Department of State as the "act of recruiting, harboring, transporting, providing or obtaining a person for compelled labor or commercial sex acts through the use of force, fraud or coercion."
Human trafficking is a prevalent practice globally, with instances of exploitation and human rights violations being reported in the majority of nations each year. Still, it's very rarely talked about publicly.
"Slavery never ended," Terry FitzPatrick, senior communications director of advocacy organization Free the Slaves, tells Mashable about human trafficking. "It was outlawed, but it was never eradicated."

Thank you to those who only shoot with a camera.

Freakshakes
Pâtissez, a cafe in Canberra, Australia, is gaining quite the reputation for its seriously out of control desserts.
Although images of the cafe's "freakshakes" have been shared widely on social media for a while now, the popularity of their cakes, shakes and other sweet things is starting to hit home. "I have people waiting an hour for a table, and they'll wait 45 minutes for a shake," co-owner Anna Petridis told the Canberra Times. "All this is house made, down to the brownie and the marshmallow."
Petridis, and her mother and fellow co-owner, Gina Petridis, appeared briefly on the reality show My Kitchen Rules in 2015.
If you're counting calories, please consider dining elsewhere. The "epic freak shakes" include selections like the "Muddy Pat," which consists of hot chocolate fudge, brownies, cream, and toasted marshmallows. If salt with your sweet is more your speed, try the "Nutella and salty pretzel." With Nutella, whipped cream and crushed pretzels, it may kill you, but at least you'll die happy.

One of Josh Duggars molestation victims is planning to file a lawsuit against the reality show star and former anti-LGBT activist.
The suit will be filed by a victim who is not a family member, reported InTouch Weekly which first broke the news about the molestation case.
The new report is based on anonymous sources.
Two of the 27-year-old Duggars sisters appeared last month on Fox News and admitted their brother had molested them more than a decade ago at their familys home.
He molested two other sisters as they slept, according to investigators, along with a babysitter who was staying at the Duggar home.

This week, the Supreme Court agreed to take a case that could spell doom for public sector unions, with the potential to make the entire country so-called right-to-work territory.
If that effort fails, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has vowed to make every state a right-to-work state if elected president. Out of all the Republican candidates running for president, a growing roster that now tops a dozen, Walker has focused the most on his record fighting unions a record he says prepares him to confront enemy combatants like ISIS if elected president.
But while Walker may be the loudest and proudest union buster in the 2016 race, his fellow candidates are also striving to prove their anti-labor bona fides.
Carly Fiorina has blamed unions for pay disparities between men and women, though that disparity is much smaller among unionized workers.
