Setting aside all the Smear Campaigning, all the Paid-For Talking points, which are intended to distract voters from the real reasons for elections, in the end choosing who would be best to lead this country comes down to their RECORDS on major issues they were asked to take a stand on during their political careers.
Iow, Who Can We Trust to remain consistent on the Campaign Promises they will make during Campaign Season.
The best way to do that is to LOOK AT THEIR RECORDS!
It is a well known fact that Politicians will say whatever they think they need to say to get themselves elected.
Fortunately in this campaign all of the Democratic Candidates HAVE pretty long records for us to look at.
Civil Rights, Social Justice, Foreign Interventions, Social Safety Nets, Trade Policies, Wall St Regulation, Health Care, The Money in Politics, the awful Welfare Reform Act and more
..... has remained consistent, and has been proven to be correct over the decades.
Which the ONLY reason why I support Bernie Sanders in this election!

I really don't see any difficulty in choosing who should be our next President when you focus only on the issues!

I doubt he would ask viewers for their opinions of a debate, then delete the results when the viewers responded, as requested, but chose overwhelmingly, the People's Candidate over THEIR choice!
Bernie, unafraid take it to the Corporations lest they might give him some negative coverage!
Just telling the truth and thrilling the audience by doing so.
It's so rare, I still jump up and applaud when he does it!
Bernie Sanders: The Best Democrat We Have Had the Privilege to Vote for in a Long Time!
On the issues, without a doubt, there is no one I can think of who has better represented Democrats in Congress and in the Senate than Bernie Sanders over the past several decades.
There are only a few other Democrats who got it as right as Bernie Sanders on the Neocon policies of the disastrous Bush Administration as Bernie Sanders.
They never fooled him with their lies and he wasn't shy about saying so.
Elected office isn't the place for people to go through the learning process.
We need leaders who lead, who don't get it wrong on major issues at the time they are faced with decisions.
If you have to evolve on issue after issue, do it BEFORE being in a position of power where wrong decisions can harm so many people
Thanks Sen. Sanders for giving Democrats a Democrat they could only have dreamed of to vote for in this election.
Now we have to elect as many more Democrats like Bernie, for Congress and the Senate as we can.
He is perfect example of what a Democrat should be!

No polls, maybe because Bernie won the viewer debate polls so overwhelmingly, they've decided to eliminate them.
Saves them from deleting them, as CNN did last time.
Bernie was on FIRE! The most authentic, the most real, honest and passionate.

They may have something to smile about, most of us do not!

This OP was written in November of 2015!
They have never before endorsed any candidate during the primaries.
So what happened?
The backlash has been instant and widespread especially since it became known of the close relationship between Hillary, her campaign and a CEO of PP.
I thought I must have imagined Planned Parenthood's praise of Sanders, their official announcement of his long record on 'standing up for women.
But here it is! I did not imagine it!
The backlash to this obvious cronyism, politics as usual, the turning of an organization that was so respected for its work in support of women over the years, into a political football, has caused outrage to the point where they had to post a statement trying to explain why they broke what was a laudable 100 year tradition to endorse a friend of their CEO.!
What WERE they thinking, and at a time when they need all the support they can get! Why risk the fate of Planned Parenthood by using it for purposes for which it was not intended???
And to contradict their official position on Bernie Sanders just months ago by attempting to diminish his work on behalf of women in their latest statement on their site??
Once again,, women lose when politicians play games with their issues.
I like so many others, have lost a lot of respect for an organization that for so long managed to take the high road.
What a shame! But it won't of course adversely affect Sanders, as a matter of fact it appears this awful decision has actually GAINED support for him!

Comments on PP's Twitter Account show how negatively people, women especially, are viewing Hillary's Campaign attempting to portray him as a sexist.
Stick to facts, criticize candidates on the issues and their records, but playing coy games in the hopes of portraying your opponent as something they are clearly not is going to backfire.

Obama to Hillary: Stop Playing the Victim.
Hillary's not so subtle false implication regarding Bernie last week, reminded me that that wasn't the first time she had played the 'gender card'.
I remember this very well.
Was as offended, as a woman, then as I was when she repeated the tactic with Bernie.
Bernie and Obama .....
As Obama said in that interview:
'It's not how we would expect her to operate if she were president'
My question is, since it didn't help her win last time, why on earth would she try doing it again?
Wouldn't it be great if our Politicians, like Bernie, just stuck to the ISSUES rather playing these games especially when it's clear the voters are not interested in seeing this kind of thing.
Was Hillary Being Sexist When She Claimed to be a Victim of Men Shouting her Down?
Since there was zero truth to her implications re Bernie, and assuming she is an intelligent woman, why would she make such a claim?
It's obvious she is one of the most privileged, powerful, wealthy women in the country, so playing the victim isn't very believable.
My answer is 'yes'!
It was extremely sexist, 'using one's gender to garner sympathy or gain political advantage'.
I'm trying to figure out what advantage politically there might be for a woman running for elected office to claim victimhood because of their gender.
I see that her remark has turned into a 'talking point' despite how untrue her claim was, by using the word 'sexist' to imply that her opponent is a 'sexist'.
Since that is obviously false, doesn't that add to the distaste originated by her claim, by showing a willingness on the part of her campaign to spread false memes regarding her opponents?
And before anyone jumps all over the notion that a woman cannot be sexist, YES THEY CAN!
How about the candidates just stick to the issues which is what the American people are interested in?
Issues like what are they going to do about rescinding the awful Welfare Reform Bill eg?
We know where Sanders stands on the legislation and we know that the last we heard from Hillary on the legislation she was totally supportive of it.
But since it has done what was predicted, plunged more women and children into poverty, has she changed her mind on her longtime support for it?
I think people are more interested in that, than in the personal feelings of candidates.
Hillary, Third Way & Kos Who Attacks Third Way this Week but Thinks Hillary Will Reject Them! Oops!!
I was surprised to see Kos from Daily Kos slam the Third Way this week as he generally isn't what many view as a Progressive Democrat.
Since every Democrat knows very well who these people are it was hardly necessary for Kos to explain why they should be viewed as the real threat they are to our party. But he did just in case there is anyone left who doesn't get it!
So for whatever reason, even Kos who prides himself on his 'pragmatism' (the Third Wayers love that word btw) apparently does know just how real the threat from this Wall St Think Tank is to the Dem Party:

To my knowledge, Kos is not a Bernie fan, more of a Hillary fan, or whoever the Status Quo candidate might be. However even HE sees the sheer nonsense being spewed the these Wall St Investors regarding Progressive Ideals re SS and other popular issues with the American people as proposed by Sanders.
Because the Third Way has taken now to attacking both Elizabeth Warren AND Bernie Sanders which shows us how SCARED They are of the PEOPLE.
But hey, the stuff that excites you and motivates you to vote? Nope, not exciting. Third Way decided. But you know what Third Way thinks will get you pumped?
Well, they hate that Bernie wants to expand SS and give the PEOPLE their OWN MONEY when they retire:

Regardless who wins the Democratic nomination, our next president will be a Democrat, and he or she will do it by explicitly rejecting the Third Way agenda.

Kos is right about rejecting their agenda as a winning platform but Hillary won't be doing that which the Third Way clearly knows:

Hard to deny, not sure what Kos's response was, but he WAS RIGHT when he said EVERY LIBERAL would reject them!
He just hasn't grasped yet that Hillary has TOLD US she is not a Liberal. She is a 'Moderate' and we have taken her at her word.
And so have The Third Way who warned her last week to beware of swing to the Left, or else!
Warren told them where to take their 'lectures' to HER.
But it appears that Hillary's support for the Death Penalty, for considering Raising the Retirement Age among other less than Liberal positions this week means SHE at least DOES take their advice!
Kos is still right however in that the Third Way must be REJECTED by our Party before they destroy it completely.
Oh, and I wonder how much they have poured into those Super Pacs of Hillary's???
