Mom tells school board she'll bring 'loaded' guns to oppose mask mandates in Virginia

A woman upset about her child’s school requiring masks told district officials that she would come armed to oppose to the school’s mandates.

The Virginia mother’s comments at the Page County Public Schools Board meeting, recorded and streamed live on Thursday, Jan. 20, have spurred a police investigation, according to the Luray Police Department.

The woman begins her comments by explaining how in a previous meeting, she was unable to finish her prepared statement past the allotted three minutes that each citizen is allowed to speak during the public comment section. She says that when she continued to speak past her time, a public official requested backup to arrest her.

This meeting, she’s seen getting cut off at three minutes again, and it’s what she says after that sparked law enforcement’s interest.

Thousands of Giuliani Texts Shared with Prosecutors

“The retired federal judge assigned to review the contents of 18 electronic devices seized from Rudy Giuliani’s home and offices in Manhattan last spring has withheld about half of what former president Donald Trump’s personal lawyer argued should be kept out of the hands of investigators because it was privileged,” the Washington Post reports.

Ex-Giuliani associate Fruman to be sentenced in campaign finance case

NEW YORK, Jan 21 (Reuters) - Igor Fruman, who helped Donald Trump's former personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani collect damaging information about Joe Biden before he was elected president, will learn on Friday whether he is headed to prison after pleading guilty to a campaign finance violation.

Prosecutors have recommended that Fruman, 55, spend 37 to 46 months in prison, mirroring recommended federal sentencing guidelines.

Fruman is seeking no time behind bars, saying he has already accepted responsibility and spent more than two years in home confinement since his October 2019 arrest.

The government originally charged the Belarus-born Fruman and another former Giuliani associate, Ukraine-born Lev Parnas, with concealing an illegal $325,000 donation to support Trump's 2020 failed bid to be re-elected U.S. president.

Fruman's plea related to an effort to obtain legal, recreational marijuana distribution licenses by donating to candidates in U.S. states where he sought to do business.

Hannity Advised Trump to Stop Talking Stolen Election

“The Fox News host Sean Hannity had some blunt advice for President Donald J. Trump on Jan. 7, 2021: ‘No more stolen election talk.'”

“His guidance did not take. But documents disclosed on Thursday showed in vivid detail just how closely Mr. Hannity had worked with White House aides in a fervent, if brief, effort to persuade Mr. Trump to abandon his false claims about voter fraud after the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.”
