John Bolton's Divorce Group Sex Allegations

May 11-LOS ANGELES - Court records concerning the divorce of John R. Bolton, the Bush administration's nominee to become the next ambassador to the United Nations, show his first wife fled the couple's marital home when he was traveling abroad in mid-August 1982. The records further show that she took most of the couple's furniture.

Corroborated allegations that Mr. Bolton's first wife, Christina Bolton, was forced to engage in group sex have not been refuted by the State Department despite inquires posed by Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt concerning the allegations. Mr. Flynt has obtained information from numerous sources that Mr. Bolton participated in paid visits to Plato's Retreat, the popular swingers club that operated in New York City in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

"The first Mrs. Bolton's conduct raises the presumption that she fled out of fear for her safety or, at a minimum, it demonstrates that Mr. Bolton's established inability to communicate or work respectfully with others extended to his intimate family relations," said Mr. Flynt. "The court records alone provide sufficient basis for further investigation of nominee Bolton by the Senate." (Click here for court records). Mr. Flynt continued, "The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations must be free of any potential source of disrepute or blackmail."

Ex-Playboy model who alleges affair with Trump: He said I was 'beautiful' like Ivanka

A former Playboy model who alleges that she had an affair with President Trump said that Trump told her she was “beautiful” like his daughter Ivanka.

“Did he ever compare you to any of his kids?” CNN host Anderson Cooper asked Karen McDougal during an interview on Thursday night.

“You know, he’s very proud of Ivanka as he should be,” McDougal replied. “She’s a brilliant woman, she’s beautiful, she’s — you know, that’s his daughter and he should be proud of her.”

“He said I was beautiful like her and, you know, ‘you’re a smart girl’ and there wasn’t a lot of comparing but there was some, yeah. I heard a lot about her,” she continued.

McDougal says that she had an affair with Trump during his marriage to first lady Melania Trump.

She sued American Media Inc. (AMI), which owns the National Enquirer, on Tuesday for the right to talk about the alleged affair.

Second 4.6 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Off Northern California Coast: USGS

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake hit off the coast of Northern California near Eureka Thursday morning, then another 4.6 temblor struck Thursday evening near the same epicenter, according to the USGS.

The first quake struck at 9:24 a.m. about eight miles west of Humboldt Hill and roughly 11 miles away from Eureka, according to the USGS. The second quake struck at 8:09 p.m. and was centered about 29 miles southwest of Eureka.

A tsunami was not expected as a result of the quakes, according to the U.S. National Tsunami Warning Center.

The USGS previously stated that the morning earthquake was a 4.5 magnitude temblor before changing it to a 4.6 magnitude.

Summons Issued For Trump In Emoluments Case

A lawsuit filed by D.C. and Maryland against President Trump over his alleged business conflicts has been expanded to include Trump in his personal capacity as a businessman, which means that a summons has been sent to perhaps the most famous address in Washington: 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The attorneys general for both states argue in a lawsuit that Trump is violating the emoluments clause of the U.S. Constitution, which in part bans public officials from receiving gifts and payments from foreign governments without approval from Congress.

They argue that Trump’s refusal to divest from his sprawling business empire — in particular, the Trump International Hotel in downtown D.C. — has meant that foreign governments have directly paid the Trump Organization for hotel bookings and events.

The suit also alleges that businesses in both Maryland and D.C. have lost out on potential profits because groups are staying at Trump’s properties in order to curry favor with the president.

A similar emoluments lawsuit brought by an ethics watchdog and a restaurant group was tossed out earlier this year after a judge said the plaintiffs didn’t have standing. In dismissing that suit, the judge questioned whether it would be better for Congress to decide this emoluments issue rather than the courts.

Trump Legal Shake Up Clears Path for Mueller Interview

“The shake-up in President Trump’s legal team is part of preparations for a potential presidential interview with special counsel Robert Mueller,” NBC News reports.

“John Dowd, the member of Trump’s legal team who most strongly opposed an interview and was leading the discussions with Mueller about one, resigned on Thursday. The move clears the path to begin preparations should an interview occur.”

Judge Orders Walker to Call Special Elections

“Dealing a setback to Gov. Scott Walker and other Republicans, a judge ruled the governor must call special elections to fill two vacant seats in the Legislature,” the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

“Walker declined to call those elections after two GOP lawmakers stepped down to join his administration in December. His plan would have left the seats vacant for more than a year.”
