Perhaps it's time to move our military bases out of states like Texas, Georgia and Florida where state Governors and legislatures have passed laws that threaten the well being of our young women and men in uniform. Perhaps that would add the financial incentive to act responsibly

Feeling Stressed And Helpless

From the exhilaration of the Georgia elections to the total despair of the attempted coup I am completely worn out. I feel like I need to take sides and stand in front of the capital to protect it from those that wish to destroy it. The problem with that is the enemy is within the capital and I can't watch the front door and the back door at the same time. This feeling of hopelessness is overwhelming. Facebook is useless now as my MAGAT family members are spinning themselves silly trying to justify the treason and complaining their First Amendment Rights are being taken away because platforms that preach hate and murder have been taken down. It will be hard to concentrate on anything other than the inauguration for the next 9 days but for my own sanity I must. I first found the underground just after the 2004 election. It has been my go to sanity source for a long time and I am grateful for it. I pray we all survive the next 9 days and this republic still stands!

Hiding In Plain Sight

This coup was hiding in plain sight. It started with the firing of the defense secretary and the chief of staff and the installation of the the minions. Now when you see the results of the last 3 days you know why they did not want the transition team talking to the current defense and intelligence departments.
The only plausible reaction to the terrorists from the Capitol Police is that they were told to expect the President in the crowd. Look at their body posture around these people. They are treating them as a high school field trip until they stormed the doors. Compare that to the BLM protests and even more shocking their posture when they arrested now Senator Raphael Warnock for praying under the dome of the capital. They were told to expect something other than what they got. When they requested additional support earlier in the week it was denied. When they were offered more help during the seige it was denied. As Steny Hoyer was locked away he called the Governor of Marland and asked for more help as none was on site. The Governor was denied authorization to send in the Maryland state police and National Guard. These are all the glaring examples of a planned and executed coup on this nation. What else explains terrorists with zip tie handcuffs and explosive devices. Not to mention the automatic weapons and handguns. The President stirred the pot hoping to get the result he wanted.

Learn to say the word and use it every time you say the words republican, right wing and conservative. That is who these people are. The 144 congressmen who objected to Pennsylvania's vote were practicing sedition when they sought to overturn the election. Let's get this clear their argument is that in the days of the epidemic when 350,000 Americans have lost their lives for Pennsylvania to expand the state law to allow every citizen the option to vote safely from home without endangering their lives violated the state constitution. 2 Federal judges said otherwise. When your goal is to suppress the vote this was their greatest threat.
