Republicans have been playing a different game than the Democrats for years
They have always been this treacherous, but have never been called out by the MSM and if so it’s always bothsidesism...
There are about 30 Republican senators who are pure garbage
It’s one thing to be a conservative and a republican, but there is another thing to be just pure trash. And the only reason these guys get elected is because their base sees an R in front of their name and votes for them.

When I surf Twitter and I read something where someone is being a Republican asshole, I click on their profile and they always list themselves as “Christian” or “follower of Christ”....but when you scroll their comments everything is hateful and evil
I don't see this country healing and coming together
Unless the MSM and others stop playing the ‘both sides’’ argument....there is only one side that has been destructive and has thrived on division for the last 40 years with hate radio, Drudge, Fox News, breibert, etc...
Trump isn’t the same as AOC, The proud boys aren’t the same as BLM, MSNBC isn’t FoxNews, Rachel Maddox isn’t Laura Ingram, Chris Hayes isn’t Tucker, no one on progressive radio is the same as Rush Limbaugh, DU isn’t FoxNation, the rabid democratic voters aren’t like the racist trump voters....bottom line, there isn’t really a both sides argument

And the Republican senator David Perdue said something that I have noticed for almost 20 years.....he said that he doesn’t have to persuade people, he just has to get the vote out...and to be honest he is right and that is what republicans do, they always campaign on a base election. Trump did it this year, and so did their House and Senate candidates....they don’t try to reach out to the other side and no one ever calls them out for it. They live and die with their base win or lose....and even when they barely win (Ron desantis and Rick Scott) they still govern to their base
However, Democrats always try to campaign for the mythical ‘undecided’ or worst ‘the republican voter’...we need to have that same attitude of turning out our voters and getting them energized without worrying about the ‘undecided’ or ‘Trump’ voter...those people aren’t going to vote for us anyway...seems like republicans have learned that
Democrats need to understand the rural voter
So for the last 30 years the MSM, Republicans, some Democrats, and actual Republican voters have said that Democrats are liberal coastal elites who have to do a better job of understanding the rural republican voter and stop treating them as ‘fly over country’, stupid, and different ...but the opposite has actually happened over those years...Democrats bend over backwards trying to court these voters (while alienating their base), and still get labeled liberal, socialist, communist, out of touch, elite, etc..
I am getting tired of after every election being told that we need to do a better job with these ignorant voters who are living in a conservative echo chamber and have no intention of voting for a Democrat....the Democrats would be better off not wasting their time courting them, but instead shaming them for their hateful beliefs....

Perfect symbolism today
So for the past month I have seen dozens of trucks proudly displaying big Trump flags on the back....so today on I-35 I am driving and noticed one of theses trucks....he had 3 Trump flags on the back, but they were all beaten up, torn and dirty...I thought that it was perfect symbolism of the Trump presidency.
