Earlier this week someone posted a thread and the posed the question on whether the US could ever end this divisiveness that’s around today. People correctly pointed to Rush Limbaugh, Drudge, Breibert, FoxNews, Twitter, etc.... as the reasons for the polarization. But as I am watching this morning’s Sunday morning news shows, I realize they are to blame, too. Yes, they aren’t biased as the aforementioned other media, but their problem is this that they try to hard not to be bias. They legitimize the right wings argument by playing the “both sides” thing, they don’t do good follow up questions when they have a conservative guest on, and they don’t call them out on their lies.
I use to be a Democrat
Sorry for the title, but wanted to grab your attention. However, the title is related to what I have to say......I have been seeing a lot of phrases like this on twitter or some other site, but then these former “Democrats” mimic talking points from the far right or have a crazy devotion to Trump. And my thinking is that if someone is a former Democrat then no way they can be that divisive and turn into a right wing nutcase, I can buy them changing and becoming a moderate republican, but not full blown crazy....so I guess my point is, when people claim to be former Democrats, but now talk like a right wing nut job, then are the pretending to be a former Democrat?

Just like always, MSM pushing the horse race narrative and showing all the positives for trump in a poll that Biden leads in.
This Flynn thing and Obamagate are just the beginning
Trump is going to do whatever it takes to win re-election and use every instrument of power he has. And will be backed up my the GOP Senate and DOJ. Every crackpot conspiracy theory that originates from a right wing site or Russian bots will be investigated as if it has merit. The “liberal” media will be complicit as they will cover the stories as legitimate or present “both sides.” His goal is to depress Democratic turnout, muddy up Biden’s name so both their unfavorables are high, and to convince the simpleton voter that all politicians are corrupt and there is no difference between Dems and Rep, while energizing his rabid base.
Trump is one of those keyboard warriors
You know the type that hides behind a computer or phone and hurls all types of insults at people, but when he is face to face with someone who doesn’t take his crap, he gets afraid and retreats, like he did yesterday
The press is terrible
You know the “liberal” media that trumps claims are so tough on him.....no follow up questions when needed, the next person just asks their prepared question instead of pivoting to a follow up based on the previous reporter....I saw several occasions when his answer required a follow up by another reporter,
1. His Obama gate answer
2. The admirals answer on Fauci and others in quarantine because of contact with people who were positive (then why isn’t Trump and Pence in quarantine?)
Black Conservatives
To me, it seems like being a Black conservative has become a lucrative business opportunity for some....Diamond and Silk, Jason Whitlock, Candace Owens. Jesse lee Peterson, etc...it’s a way to make money to be against the grain and show up on FoxNews or other conservative outlets....it’s funny that these same black conservatives say Black people talk about race too much, but they are always trotted out to talk about race.....And their takes on the Auhmad Aubrey shooting is disgusting....

The case was briefly in the hands of DA George Barnhill, based in Waycross, but he recused himself because his son works for prosecutors in Brunswick.
But in a memo from Barnhill to police, the DA said he believes Gregory and Travis McMichael should not be indicted. He said the father and son had "probable cause" to believe the victim might be a burglar and were within their rights to arm themselves and chase him down.
