USAFRetired_Liberal's JournalThis Bill Maher take is so stupid
He is essentially saying that people fighting oppression and tyranny over here should be grateful that we dont live in Afghanistan because its worse there. No! why cant you be against both
.thats like saying that if someone is getting slapped in the face, but someone else is getting stabbed that the person getting slapped should be grateful because the person stabbed would love to be in their position. We should want better
and why is he comparing the US to Afghanistan
the comparison should be between the US and other western countries like Canada, New Zealand, Germany, Sweden, etc

Ralph Nader voters, Democratic voters not voting in 2010 and 2014, Jill Stein
Are contributing factors on why abortion rights are in danger.
Edit - oh, and Ginsburg not retiring when she should have
California recall and VA Governor election
If Newsom and McAuliffe both lose
Media -this is not a good sign for the Democrats, they are in bad shape for 2022
If one loses
Media - this is not a good sign for the Democrats, they are in bad shape for 2022
If both win
Media - yeah, they won but it was closer than it should have been
this is not a good sign for the Democrats, they are in bad shape for 2022
If Republicans were in charge of California, NY, VA, and Colorado
I am making this post about redistricting. So the states I listed in the title have some type of independent commission that determines congressional districts and are all controlled by Democrats. This is in contrast to states like Texas, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina where there are no commissions and Republicans gets to draw the lines.
If the Republicans controlled the states I mentioned in the title they would be looking at a way to ignore the commission and draw their own districts and Democrats should do the same. I feel like the Democrats have unilaterally disarmed and are going to pay the price for it. I am all for ending gerrymandering, but you cant end if the other side wont.
