Hillary: The highest unfavorable Democratic ratings in history. She should run for President!

Most voters really dislike and distrust her.

A lot!

Hillary would make an excellent candidate for President.

If you don't want to win against Trump.

New National Poll: Trump Increasing Lead Over Clinton. Billionaire has five-point lead over Clinton

New National Poll: Trump Increasing Lead Over Clinton
New York billionaire has five-point lead over Clinton

A new Rasmussen poll released Thursday shows Republican front-runner Donald Trump increasing his lead over Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

The New York billionaire has a five-point edge over the Clinton, with 42 percent of likely voters saying they'd back him compared to 37 percent for Clinton.

The poll also shows Trump now getting 76 percent of the Republican vote; Clinton nabbed 72 percent of the Democratic vote. Thirteen percent of Democrats would prefer Trump in square-off between the two, while nine percent of Republican voters would favor Clinton in such a match-up.

A Rasmussen poll released at the beginning of the month, for comparison, showed the two candidates running neck-and-neck, with the real estate mogul with 41 percent to the former secretary of state's 39 percent, within that poll's margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

The new Rasmussen poll, the New York Daily News reports, "suggests Trump could be experiencing a popularity surge as he pivots away from many of the controversial and bigoted statements he made during the GOP primary and embraces more establishment positions as he prepares for the general election."

Clinton challenger Bernie Sanders, for his part, has continued to point to polling showing that he's the Democratic candidate able to trounce Trump—and that ability was only further bolstered by the Fox News poll which showed that in a hypothetical general election match-up between the Vermont senator and Trump, Sanders leads 46 to 42 percent.

"If you look at virtually every poll in the last six weeks we do better and often much better against Trump than Secretary Clinton," Sanders said Friday in North Dakota. "So if the goal is to defeat Donald Trump, we are the campaign to do that."

?

Are the results of a new poll a sign of a "popularity surge" for Trump?

Sanders Welcomes California Debate With Clinton

Press Release

Sanders Welcomes California Debate
May 18, 2016

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Wednesday welcomed an invitation to debate Hillary Clinton in California before the June 7 primary election.

The Clinton and Sanders campaigns in January agreed to hold a debate in May in California, the largest state with the greatest number of delegates at stake. So far, however, the Clinton campaign has balked at keeping that pledge.

“Both campaigns have been invited by Fox News to a debate. We have told the network that we would accept the invitation with the understanding that we can reach mutual agreement on the debate moderators, the format and other details,” said Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ campaign manager.

Fox News on Tuesday sent letters to Sanders and Clinton requesting their participation in a California debate. The San Francisco Chronicle also has expressed interest in cosponsoring a California debate.

“More than half way through the month of May, we hope Secretary Clinton will soon make good on her campaign’s commitment and agree to a time and place for a debate,” Weaver added. “There are issues of enormous importance facing the people of California and our nation and the people of our largest state deserve to hear the Democratic candidates opinions.”

Presidential nominating contests often have been decided by the time of California’s June 7 primary, but this year neither candidate yet has enough pledged delegates to clinch the nomination.

“That means the people of California have a rare and important opportunity to play a significant role in determining who the Democratic Party nominee for president will be. Before making that choice, Californians deserve to hear what both candidates have to say on important issues confronting the state and the country,” Weaver concluded.

Has Biden called on Hillary to condemn a prominent backers physical attack on a Bernie supporter?

Not that I'm aware of.

So far the only victims of actual physical attacks have been Bernie supporters.

First we had Trumps thugs assault Bernie supporters at Trumps public meetings and than we had a prominent Hillary campaign supporter physically attack a female Sanders supporter when she indicated support for Bernie's campaign.

Did Biden say anything against the guns shots fired at a Sanders campaign headquarters. Again, not that I'm aware of.

Come on Biden.

Let's show a little even handedness.

OK?

A Nasty Corporate Media and Democratic Officials Propaganda Assault On Sanders Has Been Launched.

The Democratic Establishment’s Assault on Sanders Begins
by John Atcheson
January 26, 2016

But of course, the better he does with the people, the more he threatens their power base—which is their relationship with corporations and the uber-rich and the PACs they fund. Now that Sanders has become a real threat to their dominance, brace yourself for the well-financed counter attack that’s coming soon to a media outlet near you.

It will be nasty. It will be swift. It will be merciless.

They will use fear. They will use bigotry. They will use greed. And – oh, yes – they will use money. Lots of money.

The most dangerous of all, though, may be those who are so inured to the system, they can’t see the prospect of real change – of a real, and much needed, revolution.

In Sanders we have a leader who – against all odds – has broken through the rigged system, reached out to us, and given voice to the 99% who’ve been left behind.

If we choose choose courage over fear. We must choose tolerance over jingoism, hate and bigotry. We must hold a belief in our own industry, resourcefulness and ability over the siren song of magic markets and easy money. If we stand together, then we can put this evil genie back in its bottle and we can take back our country and make government work again – for all of us.

That is the source of our power. And it is the only power that can take on the establishment confederacy that is now gathering against us.

Big business and Wall Street. This is their country, not ours. And they intend to keep it that way

The big corporate media are going after Bernie and his supporters big time.

They have a job to do.

Defend the rich and powerful at all costs.

They can't allow anyone to threaten their wealth and privileges.

They must crush any opposition to the political rule of big business and Wall Street.

This is their country.

Not ours.

And they intend to keep it that way.
