The acceptance of Fox News by other media changed America.

It was bad enough that talk radio, primarily the AM band, had become a vast wasteland of unchallenged ultra right wing garbage.
But, when Fox News television was created by Roger Ailes and distributed by Rupert Murdoch, our politics changed forever.
Other networks and media outlets tried to copy Fox, if not in content, in style.
Editorial and commentary were no longer labeled or segregated.
Straight reporting no longer was valued or mattered.
All content got mixed together as infotainment.
Now, facts don’t just no longer matter. They no longer exist.
Trump and Fox have convinced a huge slice of America that facts are fake news if they come from a source that the viewer/listener/reader don’t like or approve of.

In the infancy of Fox News, many of us here screamed and yelled and posted and blogged and had car bumper stickers imploring Americans not to accept Fox News as a legitimate source.
We called it Fixed News or Faux News.
We pointed out all of the lies and propanda.
But, we lost that battle.
America accepted Fox just like America has accepted a traitorous President.

Mueller is the country’s only hope.
Barring that, we either give up on this country as a Democratic Republic, move, or consider a
second Civil War.

Why no defense of McCains character by the Turtle

Ummm, hello, mr majority leader?
Ummm, you know, John McCain’s, umm you know, a member of your own party....
Ummm, your party’s standard bearer not that long ago...
Ummm, you know, he’s actually dying......
And people are calling him names like “songbird”.....and that’s ok with you, Turtle McConnell?

Wow.

Best case Russia/Stormy scenario for Democrats

I would like to see Muellers report released in its entirety around late July.
Most primaries will be over by then. Most effective timing for midterms.
Report should have Trump personally indicted for Obstruction of Justice, money laundering, bank fraud, and cooperation with a foreign government in disrupting the election.
Pence should also be indicted on at least one of these.

1. Dems win House & Senate, Both Trump & Pence impeached, Pelosi named President.

2. Dems win House & Senate, Trump impeached, Pence name sullied but he is President.

3. Dems win House & Senate, House impeaches Trump, Senate does not. Trump stymied by
Congress until 2020 when he is routed in bid for re-election.

I think we know Trump will never spend a day in prison, no matter what Mueller has on in him.
That’s why I didn’t include that scenario.

Trumps Sexual Slush Pimp

It seems that more than a lawyer, confidante, and friend that Cohen served Trump as his pimp.
He probably helped him in finding women and then paying them off for their silence.
For this, he was given a monthly retainer and title of Trumps “fixer”.

We will never know what this fully entailed.
For example, Could he have paid for an abortion?, child support payments?

Most likely bottom line scenario on Russia/Trump campaign.

I think we are now getting to the “how much there there is” from Muellers viewpoint.

I think it ranges from a worst case scenario of this for Trump:
He and the highest levels of his campaign worked in coordination with the Russians.
There was a quid pro quo of Russians helping him get elected in exchange for the change in the Ukraine policy in the RNC platform leading to an easing on sanctions and pro Russian stance.

Or the best case scenario for Trump:
Trump himself knew very little about what was going on.
His campaign staff and son shielded him from anything to do with Russia.
Russia’s offer to help with Trumps campaign wasn’t turned down but wasn’t overtly sanctioned.

Now, there are, of course, degrees in between the two above scenarios.
No matter what the answer to this bigly question of Russia collusion is, I think it’s obvious that Mueller has Trump and others dead to rights on obstruction of justice.
There is also money laundering and influence peddling and who knows what else.
This should be plenty to justify removing Trump from office.
But, would it get 67 votes in the Senate.
Only if the gop powers that be think they would be better off with a Pence.
That, of course, assumes that Pence is not too widely tied to any Trump corruption.

So, if you want to play along, answer the question:
What truly happened with the Russians and how much was Trump personally involved both before and after he was elected?

The Ultimate " Dish it out, but cant take it" Administration

We need more people like Michelle Wolf putting it right in their face.
In no holds barred terms that they can understand.

Gay friend told a joke last night about lettering.

Big diverse group of people sitting around drinking and shooting the bull.
Someone asked what the Q means in LGBTQ.
one person said queer but was corrected that it is “questioning”.
Then, somebody pipes up with this gem.
“I think they should add an A to make it LGBTQA. The A would represent people like me for
“AND (that one time in college).”

I thought it was kinda funny.

How long before Trump takes credit for Korean announcement?

Fox and Friends gets an assist, of course.
Doesn’t this prove that Mueller is a corrupt left wing witch hunter?
Trump is best negotiator of all time.
He got this peace done without even being a part of the negotiations.

Lets play the end game speculation game.

1. Guess the date that Mueller wraps up his work and sends his findings to DOJ.
2. Guess what that report will say about Trump specifically. Indicted? For what?
3. What people actually spend time in prison?

Bonus points: Does Trump resign, get impeached by House but not Senate, re-elected?

My answers:
July 15, 2018
Unindicted co-conspirator by knowing or unknowingly allowing his campaign to participate in a foreign govt intrusion into our election. Obstruction of justice. No money laundering.
Cohen, Manafort, Flynn.
Trump resigns after a new Dem controlled House impeaches him in April 2019.

How does the religious right support Rudy dressed in drag Giuliani.

The Evangelicals would’ve been apoplectic if a Democrat did something like this.
But, I guess like so many other things, IOKIYAR (Its ok if you’re a republican).
