A Whistlestop tour for Bernie.

Given the populist sentiment Bernie invokes, I would strongly suggest we capitalize on this by having Bernie do a Whistlestop tour like Truman. There is a strong possibility that this flame could be further exposed.
Thoughts?

If not Bernie then what about a Bernie train for a time spreading the word by supporters?

A Call For Action: The Next March On Washington

Regardless of whether Hillary or Bernie wins I am putting out a call to action on the scale of MLK Jr.'s "March On Washington" for two weeks after the inauguration of the next POTUS.
We need to unite to see issues prevail like: tuition-free for public colleges and universities, Medicare for all, a shift to the Supreme Court so we see a reversal in the Citizens United decision, Net Neutrality(especially in cellular wireless) a continuation of a(hopeful) freezing out of most of the TPP, a worker's version of the TPP, etc. Numbers on the scale of "The March On Washington" need to be there. Please be in Washington two weeks after the inauguration. I am asking you to figure out a way to get there, use your vacation time, off the clock leave(I don't know all these corporate names). We need these numbers.
Along with these numbers, we have to assume that this will be a success and swaths of hotel rooms may be fully booked. Would you be willing to offer room and board to people coming to march for at least 2 days?
I don't have any speakers yet as I have just proposed this idea after I talked about it on Thom's show; however, the noisemakers in your community who constantly speak to the aforementioned issues as well as people on the more national scale I extend an invitation.
This march is necessary to keep the pressure up for the much needed reforms we wish to see in politics.

Hello.

Found out about Democratic Underground with how much Thom talks about it.

I came here hoping to get people energized with some of my ideas and hope they will commit to them like I will.

But since this is an introduction I will give a few interests and leave it at that. I love Hip-Hop and consider myself an emcee even if I haven't come out on stage like I'm suppose to. I enjoy all kinds of films, especially Foreign ones as they challenge you. I'm looking at being on the track towards multiple languages though I am a Neophyte. I know a bit of Korean and Japanese and would like to learn Ainu as well as Turkish and that whistling dialect. I wish to learn Hebrew and Swahili as well.
I am a Bernie supporter as I believe he energizes people like no other and has the ability to help rebalance the political system with the help of us all. Before I supported Bernie, I was behind Ron Paul. As much as I like Paul, Bernie gives me a sense of hope I have never felt before from a political candidate and I think his transparency and consistent voting record have helped with that.
