GeorgiaPeanuts's JournalAs a person new to voting and politics (due to cynicism), I find the vote-splainin' frustrating!
It is very rude and condescending to be told that the values and principles I based my vote on are selfish or that I am to blame for the outcome of an election if it ends up with candidates I have no desire to vote for.
It is NOT selfish to vote based on the values and principles you hold dear. And I think the Hillary supporters who harp on this attack should reconsider their actions because it turns off voters even more.
I think a candidate must earn people's votes, not having an R next to your name is not good enough.
So next time when you think about denigrating someone's vote consider what kind of damage you are causing to the general election.
Does anyone remember earlier in this Primary...
What a difference this version of Hillary compared to the one we got when the primary was just getting warmed up. Not running as Obama or Bill's third term. Pleading guilty to being a moderate and centrist.
What the hell happened?

Clinton camp: Sanders' debate request a stunt
Clinton press secretary Brian Fallon told CNN that the campaign considers the request a stunt by a campaign struggling for attention and an effort to get back on peoples radar.
Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver sent a letter to the Clinton camp on Sunday making the request.
Our campaign continues to believe that the people of New York, the largest April primary, deserve to have the debate held in their state, and that it should be held prior to the New York primary, Weaver wrote.
Clinton strategist Joel Benenson told reporters Monday that that would be unlikely at this point.
Were still in the month of March, weve got real estate to go before New York, he said.
Wisconsin is scheduled to hold a Democratic primary April 5, and Wyoming will have caucuses April 9. New Yorkers will have their primary April 19.
The campaigns had agreed to at least one debate each in March, April and May. March debates were held in Flint, Mich., and Miami. The May debate is slated for California, according to Weavers letter.
Can you please explain why New York should not host the April debate? he wrote. Is the Secretary concerned about debating before the people who twice elected her to the U.S. Senate?
Benenson suggested that the Clinton campaign also has been concerned with the tone of Sanders campaign and that negativity which he had foresworn earlier in the race could lessen the chances she will debate.

Sanders Raises More Than $4 Million Since Saturday Victories

Sanders' campaign spokesman Michael Briggs said Monday that the fundraising shows that the "people backing Bernie are charged up." It's one of Sanders' largest post-election fundraising hauls during his primary fight against Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.
The money will help the Vermont senator as he prepares for advertising in upcoming states such as Wisconsin, New York and Pennsylvania.
Clinton holds a large lead among pledged delegates but Sanders says those states and the California primary on June 7 offer him a path to compete for the Democratic nomination.
I wonder if he is on track to outraise her yet again for a 3rd month in a row. Not a good look for presumptive nominee.

Alaska Democratic Party vice chairman Larry Murakami, who had previously donated to Sanders but formally had been uncommitted, decided to back Sanders after the Vermont senator defeated Clinton 82 percent to 18 percent in the state on Saturday.
"Yes," Murakami told POLITICO, when asked Monday if he was throwing his support toward Sanders as a superdelegate. "I only became the vice chair of the Alaska Democratic Party in January. So I decided to be uncommitted and to encourage the dialog and get people talking."
That changed after Alaska went big for Sanders.
"I'm going with Alaska," Murakami said. "I don't know that any other of the Alaska delegates have committed to one candidate or another, but I think it's totally appropriate if we're over 80 percent for one of us to step forward and say, "yeah, I'm voting for Sanders like everyone in my district, like most of the people in my district and most of the people in Alaska."
