Hillary Clinton Hits the GOP on Voter Suppression....does anyone care this happened in AZ?

Maricopa County is home to Phoenix and half of the democratic vote in the entire state. Did I miss a post bringing this up? This is not just a "berniebro" talking, this is Republican sponsored "voter suppression".

Edit: Needed clarification...Clinton said this in 2015.

Clinton didn’t shy away from that connection. “It is a cruel irony, but no coincidence, that millennials—the most diverse, tolerant, and inclusive generation in American history—are now facing exclusion,” she said, in reference to restrictions on student voting. Likewise, she explained, “Minority voters are more likely than white voters to wait in long lines at polling places. They are also far more likely to vote in polling places with insufficient numbers of voting machines … This kind of disparity doesn’t happen by accident.”

For weeks, some Democrats have been sounding the alarm about not enough polling places in Maricopa County for Tuesday's presidential primary.

They warned that reducing the number of polling places from 200 during the 2012 primary election to 60 would mean long lines and discourage people from voting.

They said the fact that some predominantly Latino areas got one or none polling places essentially translates into voter suppression.

These polling places are for this election only. Voters will have to go to their assigned polling place to vote in the August 30th Primary and November 8th General Election.

Polling places are open from 6:00am to 7:00pm on Election Day.

Seattle ranks highest per capita donations for Bernie Sanders

http://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/data/seattle-is-berning-nations-biggest-donors-per-capita/

Seattle ranks No. 1 among the 50 biggest U.S. cities for per-capita contributions to Bernie Sanders, according to my analysis of the most recent data from the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and the U.S. Census Bureau.
Which candidate are you supporting?

Itemized donations from Seattleites to Sanders totaled $596,578 through Jan. 31. That pencils out to a rate of $893 per 1,000 city residents, handily beating out No. 2 San Francisco and No. 3 Portland

Tim Canova vs. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the establishment

I now write directly to you to more formally repeat my request for access to our VAN voter database and software. It is my understanding that the agreement between the Democratic National Committee and state Democratic parties allows state parties to provide access to the VAN voter database and software to Democratic candidates on a reasonable basis. As a longtime, loyal registered Democrat, and now an electoral candidate for our party, I am interested in allowing constituents to hear my views so that they may make a more informed decision at the ballot box. It cannot seriously be disputed that this plainly qualifies as a reasonable basis for providing my campaign access to our party’s database and software.

If the Florida Democratic Party continues to deny my request, please promptly provide us with a copy of the exact provision in the state party’s by-laws or rules upon which the denial is based, and all other provisions and agreements relating to this issue.

Hi Folks!

My friend in LA recommend this site to me recently, glad to be here.
Actually to be honest he called me very upset, he asked if I would join and help him. I do want to be a DU member as well, though if anyone could help my friend, it'd be a very warm welcome.

His sn is blueintelligentsia and he was recently banned, i'm not sure why exactly, but he seemed to make it sound like it was for no reason.

Cheers!

Edit: he's pretty much given up, so I hope to make the best of this forum regardless.
