Sen. Hyde-Smith says: "And then they remind me, that there's a lot of liberal folks in those other schools who that maybe we don't want to vote. Maybe we want to make it just a little more difficult. And I think that's a great idea."
Sen. Hyde-Smith was already facing controversy after comments she made during a Tupelo campaign stop on November 2nd where she said: "If I was invited to a public hanging, I would be on the front row."

Pence: "He used the tax code just the way it's supposed to be used, and he did it brilliantly"
From October 2016
. . . Mitnick worked for Trump and his father, Fred Trump, for nearly 30 years, from the 1960s until 1996. He told Inside Edition that he recognized the tax returns because at the time, his computer couldnt print a number as large as the loss Trump declared in his 1995 returns: $915,729,293. The numbers had to be put in there with a typewriter, he said.
Yet even as Mitnicks interview was airing on TV, Trumps vice presidential running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, was busy hailing Trumps brilliant exploitation of the tax code. He used the tax code just the way its supposed to be used, and he did it brilliantly, Pence said.

Spokesman for GOP on Kavanaugh nomination resigns; has been accused of harassment in the past
Source: NBC
WASHINGTON A top press adviser helping lead the Senate Judiciary Committees response to a sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh has stepped down amid evidence he was fired from a previous political job in part because of a sexual harassment allegation against him.
Garrett Ventry, 29, who serves as a communications aide to the committee chaired by Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, had been helping coordinate the majority party's messaging in the wake of Christine Blasey Fords claim that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her 36 years ago at a high school party. In a response to NBC News, Ventry denied any past "allegations of misconduct."
After NBC News raised questions about Ventry's employment history and the sexual assault allegation against him, Judiciary Committee Spokesman Taylor Foy replied in a statement: "While (Ventry) strongly denies allegations of wrongdoing, he decided to resign to avoid causing any distraction from the work of the committee."
Republicans familiar with the situation had been concerned that Ventry, because of his history, could not lead an effective communications response.

BREAKING - Brett Kavanaugh's Daughter Files to Legally Change Her Last Name to Manafort
(not really, fake news!)
If they testify Monday to opposite stories UNDER OATH that indicates a crime for FBI to investigate.
Steven Dennis @StevenTDennis
Hm. If both Kavanaugh and Ford testify under oath Monday and tell opposite stories, one could be committing the federal crime of lying to Congress. Would there be precedent for FBI to then investigate?

You just can't run from the FBI.
Never forget Operation Desert Badger.
On 9/11 it is good to remember Operation Desert Badger, Shrub's 2001 attempt during the first eight months after his inauguration to start a war with Iraq.

"It's an agreement, an agreement to commit campaign financing crimes - it's a five-year felony."
"This makes the President of the United States an unindicted co-conspirator. ... The fact of the matter is, if you read this indictment, he's doing it at the direction of Donald Trump. And if he's doing it at the direction of Donald Trump, there's a conspiracy. It's an agreement, an agreement to commit campaign financing crimes - it's a five-year felony."
