Yeah, it's a warning meant to intimidate heroin dealers. But some people are saying the impression it creates of law enforcement officers is doing more damage than any prevention of drug crimes that may result.
“Enjoy looking over your shoulder constantly wondering if today’s the day we come for you,” says Lake County Sheriff Peyton Grinnell in the video, “Enjoy trying to sleep tonight wondering if tonight’s the night our SWAT team blows your front door off the hinges.”
Masked SWAT team members are behind Grinnell in the video, concealing their identities because they’re in undercover investigations.
Views on the video are conflicting. Many on Twitter didn’t agree with the approach, criticizing and comparing them to ISIS.

NFL players want to arm wrestle in competition, league says "not so fast!"

NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy told ESPN on Sunday that the league just became aware of The Pro Football Arm Wrestling Championship and will be looking into it further. Participating players could be in violation of the league's gambling policy and may face fines. League personnel are prohibited from making promotional appearances at casinos or other gambling-related establishments.
"Had we been asked in advance if this was acceptable, we would have indicated that it was in direct violation of the gambling policy," Joe Lockhart, NFL vice president of communications, told USA Today Sports, which first reported the league's concern over the event. "No one sought pre-approval."
The contest, which took place April 5-9, is scheduled to be broadcast on CBS on May 27-28, with the championship round shown on June 3.

U.S. Navy strike group to move toward Korean peninsula: U.S. official

A U.S. Navy strike group will be moving toward the western Pacific Ocean near the Korean peninsula, a U.S. official told Reuters on Saturday, as concerns grow about North Korea's advancing weapons program.
Earlier this month North Korea tested a liquid-fueled Scud missile which only traveled a fraction of its range.
The strike group, called Carl Vinson, includes an aircraft carrier and will make its way from Singapore toward the Korean peninsula, according to the official, who was not authorized to speak to the media and requested anonymity.
"We feel the increased presence is necessary," the official said, citing North Korea's worrisome behavior.

Lawyers have reported losing cases as victims fear being rounded up at the courthouse. This fear is not unfounded. In fact, the Associated Press reports that “sexual assaults reported by Latinos in Los Angeles have dropped 25 percent, and domestic violence reports by Latinos have decreased by 10 percent compared to the same period last year.”
