Eric and Don Jr. leave candy bar and $5 in basket to trap anonymous op-ed writer
WASHINGTON—Promising that the author would spend “100 kajillion years in jail,” Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. told reporters Tuesday that they had left a $5 bill and a Snickers bar under a propped-up laundry basket in order to trap the anonymous writer of the New York Times op-ed piece. “Everyone is super mad about this secret bad guy in the White House, but we put a whole candy bar and a bunch of real money in there, and we’re gonna catch the crook,” said Donald Trump Jr., who, along with his younger brother, was crouched behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office to monitor their trap and pull the rope once the “buttless [sic]” opinion-piece writer climbed under the plastic tub to grab the candy. “I’ve got a Super Soaker and Eric has a broom so we can arrest him once he gets stuck. We also dug a pretty deep hole in the backyard and covered it with a blanket and some pieces of grass on top. It has our Iron Man action figure and some Skittles and some of Dad’s Pop Secret [sic] work stuff on it to trick him to walk over and then fall down and never, ever get out unless we say so. Went to see Mother(87) in the posh nursing home this AM...told her about the 2 TV funerals...
I went to see Mother(87) in the posh nursing home she resides in this AM. I had not been for 2 weeks as 2 flat tires, brake job and health issues of my own....Oh my...she was in bed on her back and couldn't even open one eye...kept licking her lips..I am in pain she kept saying,..darn brother told me nothing... she is usually all glammed up for me...she did not want company. She puts alot of this on for attention...like Trump she is a narcissist and any attention is good attention..nonetheless, it was scarey...
Sadly she was abusive to me and from the age of 2 and told me I was ugly and dumb and no man would never want me. I have an IQ of 177 and am pretty I discovered when I left her house !!So, the relationship is not a Hallmark card. All my life I begged in different ways for her to love me...sad Jody...
I am quite animated and got her going talking.....Trump, the 2 funerals, the eulogies, our local politics...... told her my opening paragraphs for my Sept letter. "When I as 7 Gary Konkol put a bee down my back"...it is about pubic dialogue.....I write letters for progressive DEMS since 2009. Good letters. She said how proud she is of me...this comes ONLY after her docs and locals told her how brilliant I am...blah..blah...
I said "Mom, people weren't so mean when we were young, we would have called them uncouth..this behavior"...My letter will also compare Dad's funeral to Aretha/McCain funerals....targeting Trump..It is all a reaction to the pig in the WH...
As I am telling her about what is going on in our world she repeated 3x "Jody, what a crazy world"...I said "Mom, consider what the other countries think of us".....As I drove away, I thought I am glad she isn't bombarded with the news....she does not watch TV...I alone among the siblings, am her very candid walking newspaper....I don't babytalk her like the other kids...but think of how these old folks depart life in the 2018 version of the USA... growing up in the Depression, her huz in WW2 and his ship bombed at 17 years of age...7 kids....Dad becoming a priest in his 40s...(he got to keep her, as he already had her..but took celibacy vows)...oh yes, we did discuss the Catholic church...sex scandals..
Perhaps next visit I will talk about something else besides politics...but then that wouldn't be me....

USDA and Dept of Education cancelled all work from home programs last week..just like that...
My pal Margaret works for the USDA, I separated from them in 1993. She was in D.C. all week. I asked what's new? The USDA and Education Depts told them Friday nobody can work from home anymore, they simply stopped it . Margaret said morale is very low and many are quitting....and of course that is just what Trump wants...chaos......
