Girard442
Girard442's JournalSo the Russians and American nutcase billionaires worked thru CA to drag Trump into the White House?
Using large amounts of dirty money and muscle.
Isn't this this the conclusion we're tending toward?
Has anyone ever read a book about German families dealing with Hitler's rise to power?
There must have been major family rifts over the issues of the day -- although not enough, sadly.
On edit: TY for all the responses.
I have a dream.
When these Republican dirtbags are finally driven from office, prosecutors from sea to shining sea will be itching to have a go at them for all the legally actionable slimy things they did while in office.
Something you won't see in your mailbox anytime soon.

Re: Gun rights
As you know, recent tragic incidents have led to calls for bans of certain types of firearms or even for all firearms. Those of you who have followed my career know that I am an unflinching advocate of the principle that that the rights of all Americans to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. I am also an advocate of the principle that an armed populace is a guarantee of safety and law and order. I firmly believe that "good guys with guns" are the bedrock of civil tranquility.
To emphasize my support for these principles, I make the following pledge: anyone bearing arms, whether openly or concealed is now welcome to all of my public events: town halls, campaign speeches, prayer breakfasts, whatever might be. There will be no metal detectors, no x-rays, no frisking, and all security personnel will be specifically directed to allow everyone entering events to maintain possession of any types of firearms they see fit to bring in.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all at my events soon, and with everyone there armed, it'll be a sure thing that they will be safe, secure, and civil. Bring the kids!
Once again, it's time to consider repealing the 2nd Amendment.
Let's face it, the gun lobby will fight us tooth and nail if we try to put in place even the most superficial restrictions, like, say, "limiting" high capacity clips to 40 rounds. Why not pick a cause that people can really rally around instead of the weak-tea proposals we usually hear about?
So, if there's a major spectacle of a military parade scheduled...
...what kinds of acts of civil disobedience can you imagine could disrupt it?
Just got back from the Chewbacchus parade here in NOLA
Low-budget amateur parade with a sci-fi theme. Enormous energy and creativity and big turnout.
This is the real America diverse, multicultural, exuberant, irreverent. Those evil little men with their shriveled and twisted souls can kiss our asses.
And so far, not one stinkin MAGA hat seen anywhere.
Just emailed my congressfolk to tell them I want to see them boycott the SOTU.
Rep. Nita Lowey
Sen. Chuck Schumer
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.
They won't, but I want them to know I think they should.
Looking for recommendations for a book on recent advances in cosmology.
I was watching Neil deGrasse Tyson on Colbert and realized this layman's knowledge had gotten pretty stale. Web page recommendations are OK, but for a week I'll be on a boat where the link to the Internet is, I think, pigeons.
TY in advance,
