Just wondering aloud on Russia...

We have all read the recent headlines that a couple of very high up Russians have been arrested for treason, supposedly cooperating with the CIA...

A) How did Russia find this out, and especially so soon after America gave the keys to the White House to Donald Trump on January 20th.

B) Why has the whole Russian Election hacking gone silent in the Media?

C) Why is it that Republicans are trying to sideline any further investigations?

D) Did Donald Trump give up some of our spies/double agents working on behalf of America in Russia?

Not a conspiracy theorist here, but find this all too convenient.

Whining Not a Workable Diplomatic Strategy

Early on in his run to become (Faux) President of the United States bragged that he whines until he gets what he wants...that has been his negotiating tactic for decades. Far too many probably gave him what he wanted just to be done with him.

Problem is, that strategy does not work on the world stage, does not work with other world leaders. In less than two weeks as President Trump has managed to ruffle the feathers of our closest allies, Britain, Mexico, and now Australia, while making it appear that the United States is more than willing to change course and get in bed with Putin. Furthermore, his trying to renege on deals already made (IE, NAFTA, IE, our agreement with Australia), his endless string of threats if he does not get his way is now calling into question America's integrity.

A general on CNN last night said Trump is offending almost every world leader, and if things do not change, we could find ourselves standing alone in our own times of need.

How much rope are we going to give Trump and the Alt. Right?

WTF "Run for Something"

After my PT, came home and decided to jump in and get involved with "Run for Something" sign up to help, and to run for something here in my local community. I was excited, was stoked to be taking some positive action, be pro-active in stopping the Republicans in 2018.

I went to their site, signed up to "Run for Something" and then started going through their site. I was both SHOCKED and VERY SADDENED to find what can only be described as blatant "Age Discrimination" as a cornerstone of their organization. Seems they are only interested in working with/helping those who are 35 and under! EXCUSE ME? Is this the new Millennial version of having a Democratic Big Tent? Can someone explain to me the wisdom of snubbing some 79 Million Baby Boomers?

We as the second largest special interest group behind Millennials, have a lot of talent and expertise to bring to the table, not to mention most of us can probably afford to donate more money to the effort than a lot of Millennials can. Question is, why would be participate in an organization who seems dismissive of us based upon our age?

Should Democrats Abstain From Voting?

I am a firm believer that a lot of the bad things getting ready to come down in Washington, DC need to be fully and completely owned by the Republicans (IE...Obama Care Repeal).

I am wondering if (especially in the Senate) if all 48 Democrats should simply not vote on those issue, abstain from the vote, let the Republicans and Trump own it fully and completely. Let all of the blood on hands as it were be Republican Blood, as it it going to get far uglier than the first ten days we have witnessed.

Let Republicans vote first on every bill, and once they cross the threshold of 51 votes in favor of a bill, get up and walk out refusing to cast a vote for wrong sited legislation.

How Many Other American Embassies Are Telling Muslims To Get Lost?

I was speaking to someone who said the American Embassy in Sweden was not allowing anyone from the seven Middle Eastern countries appointments to apply for a USA Visa to travel to America....so I did some checking and this is what I found.

Nationals of the seven countries affected by US President Donald Trump's travel ban have been advised not to schedule a visa appointment or pay visa fees for the time being, the US Embassy in Sweden said in a statement on Monday afternoon.

"Visa issuance to nationals of the countries of Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen has been suspended effective immediately until further notification," the embassy said.

It also warned citizens of the seven Muslim-majority countries not to attend visa appointments if they had already scheduled them, saying anyone who tried to do so would "not be permitted entry to the Embassy/Consulate".
