So what if AG Barr gave Trump a heads up on the investigation.

It's not like Ivanka met him on a tarmac and talked about their kids.

His son said "I love it" when he thought he would be given something by RUSSIANS.

They tried to get a back channel with through the RUSSIAN EMBASSY. His campaign people traded info with RUSSIANS.

How does he get away with calling the investigation of these things TREASON?

I fear the primaries will not give us the best candidate.

Instead it will give us the candidate who is the most different from the rest. Votes will spread among similar- meaning more mainstream and therefore more electable- candidates, in effect canceling each other out. This will hand victories to the more extreme and less electable who are running. I fear we are going to end up with someone who will lose to Trump in all the wrong places, giving him another electoral win. In the Republican primaries votes went to Trump or to one of the other guys. It was, from the beginning Trump alone against all the others. That's how he won the nomination- being the "different from all the rest". Bernie Sanders could do the same thing...And then lose to Trump in 2020.

Can anyone tell me why this wouldn't be best for the Dem party for and our country?

Everyone get out of the race and back Joe Biden now.

I'd bet most every first touch every poster here has made on every other person they ever touched

was "unsolicited" in its purest sense and done so without "permission". And every person on this thread has had their "personal space" "invaded". And for every one, unless the touch was intended as harassment or manipulation, it was not a big deal. And there is virtually no job for which the "toucher" should be automatically considered unqualified. This is getting ridiculous.

So let me get this straight:

If you've hugged, kissed and embraced thousands of people in your public life and one of them felt "uncomfortable", maybe you shouldn't run for President.

But if you've bragged about grabbing women's pussies and getting into teenage girl's dressing rooms because of your position, you should hold that office.

I want to know how you get permission to touch someone.

Seriously. If they look nervous, do I say "I'm going to put the palm and fingers of my hand on your upper arm now. Is that all right"? When crying do I begin to console them with "May I embrace you by putting both arms around you and squeezing a little"? Is it always the "fault" of the toucher if the touchee felt uncomfortable at the touch? One of Al Franken's accusers said she felt uncomfortable with his hand on her waist because she had recently gained some weight. Does that mean had she been thinner his touch would have been excusable simply because she would have been less self conscious about her own waist? Joe Biden's victim said she had not washed her hair before he kissed her head. Would freshly shampooed hair have changed his guilt? I'm not trying to be a troll but something seems wrong to me that a spontaneous touch is always a form of harassment.

Every national poll I've seen lately seems to confirm that

Forty percent of Americans are terminally stupid.

This was from "(Rowan and Martin's) Laugh-In Looks at the News, Sports"- 1968:

"Today's score: The USA- 204,543,169, The NRA- 49,000. And the winner is...The NRA".

Fifty years later, has anything really changed?

I have a friend on Facebook who thinks like a RWNJ but tries to sound reasonable. Here's something

he wrote:

"I am not particularly an advocate for billionaires. I am however, a staunch believer that if one can become a billionaire, what right do we have to take what's theirs to make it ours? That's like saying we should allow anyone to forcibly help themselves to our things because we have more than they do. Really? How many are going to allow this?

Do I wish I had what they have? Do I feel they have too much? Do I wish they would share the wealth? Yes to all these questions. But, in the end, it's theirs, not ours. Sometimes, logic and common sense helps in looking at things the correct way rather than try to forcibly take from someone that they have every right to possess."

He has a job with a modest income. He drives a rusted car with a lot of mileage. He sometimes struggle to make ends meet meet. He thinks he a free thinker. He's brainwashed.
