Oil production plummets in Venezuela to 1940's levels

AIE: Venezuela's oil production will fall to levels of the 40s
Mar 5, 2018 9:16 am

The extraction of oil in Venezuela will continue its fall until 2023, to levels of the 1940s, which will affect the growth of production in the OPEC countries, according to forecasts of the International Energy Agency (IEA), according to Bloomberg reports.

"For twenty years, since the late President Hugo Chávez came to power, oil extraction was reduced more than twice to the level of 1.6 million barrels per day, and by 2023 the level of production will be reduced by almost 700,000 barrels per day, which represents a significant drop in productivity," says the IEA.

In conditions of crisis in Venezuela, the production growth of the OPEC countries will be 750,000 barrels per day, according to the agency.

"Virtually all of OPEC's production capacity growth will come from the Middle East, the sharp drop in oil extraction in Venezuela offsets growth in Iraq, due to which by 2023 OPEC's production capacity will only grow in 750,000 barrels per day," the report adds.

If Chavismo ended today, and a legitimate government took over, it would take until at LEAST 2023 for oil production to regain, as you cannot in 5 years replace the nearly 20 years of neglect and malfeasance at the hands of Chavismo. There is no money for maintenance, let alone new equipment, exploration or other oil infrastructure. Chavismo owes 90 billion dollars to creditors, with so much money stolen by guisos and enchufados that it would take a lifetime to pay off. The corruption is that immense.

Where are the forum UI's? The ones that insist that Bolivarian Socialism is the answer to everything that ails Latin America?

A man butchers a pet so that he can eat. Is this the BENEVOLENCE that Chavismo seeks to spread?

Millions of Venezuelans flee or starve. Maduro claims, "It's all about me!"

Maduro: Go to the restaurants in the East to see the humanitarian crisis and the whiskey carafes
March 2, 2018

ND / 2 Mar 2018, edit. 10:25 pm .- President Nicolás Maduro said Friday that the opening of a humanitarian channel and the migration of Venezuelans abroad, estimated at 4 million people, are part of a "dirty campaign" against his government.

This was said at a press conference from the CNE after a reporter from Globovisión asked him if he was willing to "give in" on the issue of the humanitarian channel.

"We do not echo so many dirty campaigns to discourage, demoralize and sadden the Venezuelans ... the Venezuelan is a unique being, who has a smile .... today is Friday. Go to the clubs ... go to the restaurants in the east to see the humanitarian crisis. Go now with the Globovision camera. I say to the owners of Globovisión: send a camera to the restaurants of Altamira, La Castellana, Las Mercedes to see the humanitarian crisis at 7 pm and the whiskey carafes. That is Venezuela. Let's stop the campaign to demotivate, to repeat what they want us to repeat Santos, Trump and company. "

Previously Maduro had assured that the Venezuelans value his "effort and his struggle" and that for that reason he points in the polls. In his response he also referred to another "dirty campaign": the migration of Venezuelans....

(Maduro thinks he is very benevolent that he offered up the SECOND of two minimum wage increases since January 1... forgetting that every time he does it, he sets into motion EPIC hyperinflation. He calls it, "Strengthening the financial support system"!)

Lula to Maduro: Don't make the mistake of isolating Venezuela

Lula da Silva: "Maduro must think about the economy of Venezuela"
The ex-president of Brazil, Lula da Silva, exhorted Nicolás Maduro that in no way should he make the mistake of isolating Venezuela.
1 Mar 2018 | 8:32 PM

translated from Spanish

Former leftist Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva urged Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro to "not allow the mistake of isolating Venezuela ."

Lula said he was not following closely the Venezuelan situation or having recently talked with Maduro , but explained that in 2013, when the Venezuelan president assumed power as the political heir of the late Hugo Chávez, he sent him a letter "saying what I thought was prudent that he did to harmonize Venezuela . "

But "for reasons that (Maduro ) should not explain to me, he did not adopt them," said the leader, who along with Chávez and Bolivian Evo Morales incarnated the wave of leftist governments at the beginning of the century in Latin America.

"Comrade Maduro has to consider that we need to think about Venezuela's economy with great affection, because Venezuela needs supplies, it needs to generate a lot of employment, it can be industrialized and Maduro can not allow the error to isolate Venezuela to happen."

Lula (2003-2010), which faces a delicate judicial situation and aspires to measure itself in the presidential elections of October, opined that "Venezuela needs to open up to South America, for other countries, to associate with other governments, because worse than an expensive product on the shelf of a supermarket is not having the product on the shelf. "

"Venezuela's problem is Venezuela's, the United States does not have to threaten Venezuela, Brazil does not have to threaten Venezuela, it's already difficult to develop this continent with peace, it will be much warier," he warned.

According to official estimates, some 40,000 Venezuelans are living in the capital of the border state of Roraima, many of them in conditions of indigence.

Why not? The vast majority of parties are boycotting the fraudulent elections for president... why not add to your power base by scheduling other elections to run the electoral table? Not that any of this is Constitutional... but Chavismo doesn't need no stinking Constitution!

Venezuela extends time period to run for president in fraud election... not enough suckers applied

They look for more candidates: CNE extended 48 hours nominations for presidential
The Cooperator

Caracas, February 28.- The National Electoral Council (CNE) extended the nomination period for candidates for the presidential elections of April 22 on Tuesday, 48 hours, according to the commission's announcement in a press release.

The authorities of the Electoral Power decided to extend for 48 hours the period of nomination of candidates and candidates, at the request of various organizations for political purposes. This decision is adopted in order to fully guarantee the exercise of the political rights of Venezuelan women and men within the framework of the Constitution and the laws," says part of the text.

The same, was published late on Tuesday night, after President Nicolás Maduro formalized his candidacy for re-election. Henri Falcón, also did the same and inscribed his candidacy supported by his party Progressive Advanced, MAS, Copei and Ecological Movement. However, the opposition condemned the action considering that "it departs from the unity and democratic sentiment of the Venezuelan people."

"...within the framework of the Constitution and the laws..." High comedy! Chavismo has no use for the Constitution, which it hasn't bothered to consult since 2015. The TSJ, CNE and ANC are all unconstitutional. As are these fraud early elections. And the elections that keep getting postponed.

Henri Falcón... possibly the ONLY person in Venezuela more despised than Nick Maduro. Perpetual failed candidate and former Chavista governor of Lara... whose campaign believes in Chavismo... he believes that the wrong people are running it!
