Journal Archives

Well, I was eating at the computer as usual when a morsel fell off my fork and into the keyboard. So I tried to get it out with the tools I had at hand an ink pen and a paper clip. I was getting nowhere, when I had a brainstorm. I turned the keyboard upside down and gave it a shake! Twenty years of debris fell out onto me and the floor! Now I have to sweep the floor and it's only February!

Freezing? Snowed in? This'll warm you up!

Prolonged frustration causes divisiveness, but remember...

As our friends Red Green and Canned Heat remind us,

We're all in this together, so let's work together!

Now for some old time jazz guitar...

I've just recently heard of Carl Kress and I've been checking out some of his work. ( or is it play)!

Covington is a suburb of Cincinnati...

I don't know if that is a well known fact, but I haven't seen it mentioned. Just FYI

Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde

At one time the thing in the white house may have been a Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde type character. But, now he is full on Mr. Hyde!

Not just another pretty Christmas song...

I first heard this song, last year when someone posted it here.

Christmas Card from Hooker in Minneapolis

Soul Kitchen

We were having lupper, (between lunch and supper) at J's deli. We were hearing one Christmas song after another, when all of a sudden, Do you hear what I hear? "What's that?, The Doors". Sounds like "When the musics over". Then, "well the clock says its time to go". Aha, "Soul Kitchen"! Then we discussed Aldous Huxley and "The Doors of Perception".

Just makin' new Christmas memories!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Anybody remember Maxi Cat...

We named our little calico Maxi after this cartoon which we saw on PBS in the 1970's...
