According to a report from a local ABC affiliate, two people have been charged resulting from an investigation into election fraud in Mario, Ohio.

Authorities were looking into whether the Marion County Republican Party was illegally distributing campaign handouts that were designed to mislead people to think they were sample ballots. Now, WSYX ABC 6 reporter Ben Garbarek has revealed that Republican candidate for Marion City Auditor, Robert Landon, and Marion County GOP official, John Matthews, have been charged for distributing phony sample ballots.

More than 60 percent of respondents who support President Trump say they support him no matter what, according to a new survey.

The Monmouth University poll released Tuesday found that 62 percent of Trump supporters said they could not think of “anything that Trump could do, or fail to do, in his term as president that would make [them] disapprove of the job he is doing.”

The numbers released in the poll show Trump supporters becoming more entrenched in their belief of the president, with a 12 percent increase from the last time the question was asked in January of 2018

Each November for the past 29 years, the American president signs a proclamation declaring November as Native American Heritage month, a tradition that began with President George H.W. Bush. It’s a month dedicated to learning not only about Native history but discussing current issues facing Native communities: health care, missing Indigenous women, environmental issues like the Keystone Pipeline, voting rights and more.

That is, until 2019. On October 31, 2019, the White House quietly issued a new proclamation, naming November as “National American History and Founders month.” Trump’s proclamation was filled with language that was not dissimilar to language found in white nationalist literature, softened just enough to pass the public relations filters in the White House.

Of course, what he means is the white history of this nation.

This month, we acknowledge the tremendous strides we have made as a people and recognize that our democracy’s survival is dependent upon a well-informed electorate. Shortly after CNN’s Manu Raju read excerpts from Sondland’s congressional testimony — in which he agreed it was “fair” to say that a face-to-face meeting between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was conditioned upon agreeing to investigate the company formerly employed the son of former Vice President Joe Biden — Panetta tore into the Trump White House for extorting a foreign government.

“That is the clear definition of bribery,” he said. “And it’s a clear definition of what constitutes a violation of the president’s oath. So this is just additional evidence that when you look at the testimony, when you look at the facts here, it basically supports a charge against the president that he was deliberately misusing his office of the presidency.”

In a letter signed by the Democratic heads of the House Oversight, Intelligence and Foreign Affairs committees, the Democrats requested Mulvaney appear before the committees on Friday at 9 a.m. ET to discuss whether he “played a central role in President Trump’s attempt to coerce Ukraine into launching his desired political investigations by withholding nearly $400 million in vital security assistance from Ukraine.”

House members also raised the disastrous press conference that Mulvaney led last month in which he openly admitted there was a quid pro quo to Trump request for investigations into his political rivals, before completely walking back the statement hours later.

“Despite your subsequent attempts to walk-back this clear admission, your statements to the American public on October 17 were nothing less than a televised confession that President Trump’s order to freeze Ukraine security assistance was explicitly linked to Ukraine pursuing investigations as part of an effort to bolster the President’s 2020 re-election campaign,” the letter said.
