Franklin Graham: Mayor Pete Must Repent Or Face Eternal Damnation For His "Flaunting Homosexuality"

The Daily Beast reports:

Franklin Graham, one of the country’s most influential evangelical Christians, has called on Democratic candidate Pete Buttigieg to “repent” for being gay. Graham, the president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, called homosexuality “something to be repentant of, not something to be flaunted, praised or politicized,” in a tweet Wednesday.

Just a few days ago Graham denounced Christian activists for rudely shouting at Mayor Pete during Iowa campaign stops. He closed that Facebook post with a citation of the bible verse that calls for executing homosexuals.

Couple of things the wanker failed to realise:

AND....

Mayor Pete rocks, not cause he is gay but cause he is progressive and clever, that he is gay is bloody marvellous, in part because it shows the true colours of wankers like this.... but apart from the most extreme hopefully this nasty rhetoric will move them closer to the centre,

Trump administration insists UN resolution opposing rape in war cannot offer 'sexual and....

.....reproductive health' assistance to victims

The UN Security Council passed a resolution that seeks action against rape as a weapon of war, after impassioned pleas by activists including Amal Clooney.

The resolution, sponsored by Germany, only received a green light after sections that vowed to offer “sexual and reproductive health” assistance to survivors of sexual violence, were removed at the insistence of the US, which had otherwise threatened to veto it entirely.

In language that was notably stern about one of its allies, France’s UN ambassador, Francois Delattre, told the 15-member body it was inexplicable that an undertaking to provide such help had been removed.

“It is intolerable and incomprehensible that the Security Council is incapable of acknowledging that women and girls who suffered from sexual violence in conflict – and who obviously didn’t choose to become pregnant – should have the right to terminate their pregnancy,” he said.

I honestly think the UN should have told the US to fuck off on this one. The US spreading theocracy one resolution at a time. Especially classy when they use rape victims to spread their bollocks

After Mueller report, Pelosi says 'we're not there yet' on impeaching President Trump

Her comments at the 2019 TIME 100 Summit followed days of discussions over whether the results of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation merit the president being ousted from office.

"I do believe that impeachment is one of the most divisive forces, paths that we could go down to in our country, but if the facts, the path of fact-finding takes us there, we have no choice — but we're not there yet," Pelosi said.

She said she didn't believe there was a "big division" within the Democratic caucus about this issue but noted that there are a number of members who believe that Trump's conduct outlined in the Mueller report was criminal and should lead to impeachment proceedings.

Throughout her interview, Pelosi noted a recent poll that found Trump's approval rating in the 30s but also found that less than half the country approved of impeaching him. She stressed that impeachment—if warranted—should be something that American people want.

I have the upmost respect for Speaker Pelosi but I have to say that impeachment should only be based on a majority popular opinion is complete bollocks. If one waits for the majority to want something, women would not have the vote, the civil rights act would never have been enacted and I am seriously doubtful that gay marriage would have ever been a thing....

When bad people do bad things and need to be stopped from doing more bad things surely this should be enough?!?!

Monmouth Prez Poll: Biden Still the Leader with 27%; Booker Tied with Hickenlooper at 2%

n a field of 24 announced and potential contenders, Joe Biden currently has the support of 27% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning voters, which is similar to his 28% support in March and 29% in January, according to this morning’s Monmouth University Poll. Support for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is currently at 20%, which is down slightly from 25% in March, but still higher than his 16% support in January.

“If Biden does enter the race this week, he starts off with a fairly stable amount of good will from Democrats. We might even expect to see a small bump after his announcement, but the bigger question will be what happens when those voters start taking a closer look at him on the campaign trail. It’s a long way to Iowa and a lot can happen,” said Murray.
----------------
If, contrary to current media reports, Biden chooses not to run, Sanders would move into the front-runner spot with 27% support (down from 32% in March), Buttigieg 11% (from less than 1%), Harris 11% (from 15%), Warren 8% (from 10%), O’Rourke 6% (from 7%), Booker 3% (from 6%), Hickenlooper 2% (from 1%), and Klobuchar 2% (from 3%).

BREAKING: I understand that @WhiteHouse will announce in next 48 hours that @realDonaldTrump will make a state visit to the UK in June

Hehehe
Have at it Trump - we all know you are a wanker and we are not afraid to say so....

I can guarantee that they will keep him far far away from the average Brit... I wonder if the Speaker of the House will permit him to address Parliament? I am not sure that he will.
