87 years old and undergoing chemo in a country that is a petri dish for covid. She says 'I have often said I would remain a member of the court as long as I can do the job full steam. Nothing they do says protecting life. They can never be allowed to claim pro life as a moral mantle

of complete and utter lying bollocks EVER again.



Just all of this and then on top of it - every time, in the future they try to claim to be the party of pro life, they need to be reminded of what they did during Covid-19. Don't wear masks, get the kids back to school, stop financial aid to the unemployed, open up the economy, don't provide effective PPE for healthcare workers etc et al. ALL of it is anti-life. ALL of it has led to humongous amount of unnecessary infections and deaths from the virus and excess deaths in the tens of thousands- hell the far right wing hellscape of Florida has more recorded infections a day than the whole of Europe... Pro life my lily white Irish arse.

I am not sure we should call it an unravelling...

Beans, statues and the confederacy as symbols of the race and culture war that Trump is desperately trying to stoke, while for the average person out there, coping in an out of control pandemic - economically and safety wise is pretty much all they have time for and Trump is not in any way reflecting the priories of the general public. Surprise! People are saying he has lost it, but surely the point is that he never had it? I know that I have written many an OP delighting in the Madness of King Trump as he seemed to go all in George III but I am no longer of the opinion that what we are witness to is an unravelling, I think it is more akin to an unveiling. The awful that gets more and more awful, and hell what a week it has been on so many levels of awful, is Trump, when under ever increasing pressure, showing the world exactly who he is. This is Trump - the not very effective smoke and mirrors of the last 3 years have been cracked asunder by 2020 - and the gibbering, nasty race war stoking, incoherent, incompetent fucker standing before us is the psychopath that is Trump. He is not unravelling, he is exposing the very real he, in a way that makes it impossible for anyone, unless you are part of the unrepentant racist underbelly of MAGA, to ignore exactly what he is. This is he.
