tulipsandroses's Journaltrump will try to start a media company and it will fail like everything else
He's not going to Parler, whenever they relaunch or whatever other site. He lives for the attention. His massive following on Twitter was his life blood. He's not going to have that kind of following on Parler. The problem he's going to face with starting a media company is that he is too toxic for most advertisers. Maybe in a few years...., but for now those images of a confederate flag in the capitol, images of his supporters beating police officers are seared in the public's mind. Businesses will not touch him with a 10 foot pole. It won't stop the bonehead from trying and ignoring the facts. Maybe Jim Bakker and Alex Jones will sell enough survival meals on whatever platform he comes up with to keep it successful.
Gee,bet you didn't know Prince was a scary black man

But Bowie didn't back down, saying that on other Black stations he'd seen groundbreaking videos from Black artists.
"There seem to be a lot of Black artists making very good videos that I'm surprised aren't used on MTV," Bowie said.
"We have to try and do what we think not only New York and Los Angeles will appreciate but also Poughkeepsie or some town in the Midwest that will be scared to death by Prince, which we're playing, or a string of other Black faces and Black music," Goodman responded. "We have to play the music that we think an entire country will like."
Bowie immediately clocked the suggested racism in that statement, but Goodman continued, saying white teenagers wouldn't respond well to Black bands like The Isley Brothers or The Spinners and that Black music wouldn't mean as much to them.
"I'll tell you what maybe The Isley Brothers or Marvin Gaye mean to a Black 17-year-old, and surely he's part of America as well. Do you not find that it's a frightening predicament to be in?" Bowie asked.

This is America
This is not us. We've all heard that more than a few times this week. It is us. Some of you are already familiar with Childish Gambino's This is America. - On face value it appears to be a song talking about gun violence, but it was about so much more than that.

NAACP On Pro-Trump Rioters: You Thought 'Taking A Knee' Was Too Much!?!
NAACP On Pro-Trump Rioters: You Thought Taking A Knee Was Too Much!?!
The civil rights organization called out the president for saying Colin Kaepernick was unpatriotic for peacefully protesting racism.
The NAACP called out President Donald Trump over his yearslong attack on Colin Kaepernick for peacefully protesting racism, after Trump supporters stormed the grounds of the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday.
The Capitol went on lockdown as pro-Trump rioters breached the building, banging on the main entrance of the House chamber and shattering glass windows. Photos and videos posted online show the insurrectionists breaching legislative offices.
Trump, who has often derided Kaepernicks peaceful protests against racial injustice as unpatriotic, initially responded to the riots by tweeting, stay peaceful. He did not tell his supporters to stop rioting in that tweet.
And you thought Taking A Knee was too much!?! the official Twitter account for the NAACP tweeted.

After Andre Hill's Death, Columbus Activists Demand White People 'Stop Calling The Cops'
I completely agree: If this was an actual crime in progress would the criminal/s make so much noise to alert neighbors? I'm not a cop/detective, but I doubt it. There should be a way that if such calls are called in, that they are diverted to a non emergent line.
Listen to the 911 call. Even the caller himself doesn't sound like he thinks a crime is in progress. He sounds more annoyed that the vehicle is parked in front of his house. Last I checked, streets are city property. Doesn't belong to the homeowner. However, out of courtesy I wouldn't park in front of someone's home. A simple fix could have been to approach his neighbor to ask them to ask their guest to remove the vehicle. He said the vehicle was their earlier. Did he really think the criminal came back and was revving up the vehicle again? I don't think so.
I don't know if he expected police to kill Mr. Hill. But folks calling 911 should understand the purpose of 911. It should be reserved for true emergencies. The people showing up are there to neutralize a threat. They will do so by deadly force if they feel they need to, whether rightfully or wrongfully. Do you really want to call 911 because you are annoyed?

Columbus Police Officer Adam Coy was fired Monday for fatally shooting and killing Andre Hill on a non-emergency call last week. A neighbor had called 911 complaining of a man turning a car engine on and of

On Monday night, following news of Coy's firing, dozens of protesters gathered outside the callers house on Oberlin Drive in northwest Columbus.
You called the cops because your white fragility allowed you to be so scared of a Black man in your neighborhood that you felt like he had a death sentence, Hana Abdur-Rahim, one of the events organizers, said through a bull horn. And its not O.K.

When we call the police, we are calling in a force that creates harm. At worst, we are costing Black lives, Vogt said. We call on our white neighbors, friends, and families to stop calling the cops and to consider the dynamics of racism that play out when cops become involved.
