You know what? The American Way of Life needs to be destroyed

Yep. I said it. Fuck you Chris Christie - The American Way of Life that brought evil cretins like you to the forefront should be destroyed.

The way of life that left the majority of Americans working jobs that did not allow them to save $400.00 for a rainy day while CEOs salaries got higher and higher.

The way of life that lead to the healthcare disparity, poor air quality, poverty, food deserts, that lead to so many minorities losing their lives during this pandemic.

The way of life that made it necessary for families or friends to live 8 people in a small apartment because they can't afford the ridiculous rents.

The way of life that forced people to go to work while they were sick because they did not have paid sick leave, thus spreading the virus

Here's hoping that we demand An American Way of Life that values all people and not just corporations.

A doctor on tv said that we need commercials about wearing masks, the same way we did condoms

He is right. It helped slow HIV. People who were more cavalier about sex, paid attention. Its time that we see mass advertising on mainstream tv, and online about how important this is.

Can you imagine a bunch of people protesting that wearing a condom violates their rights? Not wearing a condom could make you ill and spread a public health threat. Masks, same thing.

Kudos to my CEO! She's keeping us closed even though Gov Desantis plans to reopen tomorrow

Just checked my email and she says we are staying the course and we will continue working remotely. Its not often that I praise a CEO, heck don't think I have ever done it. She also promised no one would lose their job. She did say that some people's hours may get reduced or reassigned to other positions but no one would lose their job.

I hope there are more CEOs out there like her that value the safety of their employees and the people they service.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Mayor Lori Lightfoot is threatening citations and potential jail time to residents failing to comply with the stay-at-home order as house parties continue to be held across the city.

With the weekend bringing warm weather, Chicago police broke up multiple large gatherings Friday night, including a house party with 150 guests.

All this talk about their rights? What are the rights of the people that are taking precautions?

Joy Reid just showed a reporter's response to one of these stupid protesters, She said the woman kept coming close to her, yelling and spit flying even though she asked her to give her space. The woman told her she had no right to social distance.

Personally, I don't have the patience for stupidity. My days of being polite are long gone. If someone approaches me and is mocking me about my mask, and is all up in my space. They will get a Fuck you and get the fuck away from me response.

Given this pandemic - does anyone in this situation - have a case for harassment? This is exactly what this sounds like to me.
This woman refused to give the reporter space and told her she did not have a right to have the distance the reporter requested.

Instead, most state laws require that the behavior cause a credible threat to the person's safety or their family's safety.

Does anyone know if Faux pays tribute to the people that lost their lives to Covid 19?

It can be so hard to watch, but I think it is fantastic that MSNBC and CNN bring to light the people we have lost. Showing that these are real people, that had real lives, families left behind. Not just statistics. I was wondering if they were doing this over at Faux News. I don't watch so I have no idea.
